Hey! Thank you so much for this step by step video. I'm amazed it worked, haha. This phone was completely broken, and now with this new OS, it feels super modern again. Because I managed to fix it, I was able to donate my S3 to a refugee in need of a phone.

Worked fine, thank you so much for your tutorial. :) The S3 is still a great phone but it was so annoying for me that apps stopped working because android 4.3 was too old. Now I have a solution so thanks again.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4 at home, I installed Android 10 Q ROM on it, believe me, it works faster than Android 4, it means they are doing something to slow it down (with an update) on purpose... :)

Hi, I just wanna point out, if you do upgrade s3 to lineageOS the battery will drain quickly since I had done it and it’s draining more than it did back with its old os. Tho the Phone is working pretty well but its just the battery that might cause some problems in the future.

Important: Be sure to remove the pin from your sim card before starting with the video. In my case my sim card got locked permanently after the "sim card is locked, enter your puk" message appered. With a sim card that doesnt have a pin lock it works fine.

Dachte ich auch, aber auch die entsperrten SIM-Karten, waren nach 2 Tagen dauerhaft gesperrt. Und das gleich zweimal, auf zwei Geräten. Ständig neue SIM-Karten zu bestellen,war mir dann doch zu teuer und ich hab mich für eine neues Handy und preisgünstigere Lösung entschieden.

i had a problem on my GT-I9300. After Odin finishes successfuly, it goes into standard Samsung recovery and not into Teamwin. I installed the original firmware first and then worked fine. THANX

Hey bro, thanks for the video. I have a white Samsung Galaxy L710T (I think it was Sprint because there's no SIM card port inside) do you think I'd be able to flash it? Hat ja alles wunderbar funktioniert und das gleich an zwei S3 GT-I9300. Nur blöd das jedes dieser beiden Geräte jetzt die SIM-Karte zerstört, bzw. das diese sich selber entgültig sperren. Entnehmt auf jeden Fall beim Flashen die SIM-Karte, denn da ist die erste SIM bei draufgegangen. Danach hat 2 tagelang alles perfekt funktioniert und dann waren gleich bei jedem Gerät gleich 2 SIM-Karten entgültig gesperrt. Also ich stecke da jetzt keine SIM-Karte mehr rein und hab mir ein neues Telefon besorgt.

@@TechN3D If it were possible to install apps from Google Pay, then there would be no problem. But I can't even install any apps, because then I have to log in as if I had a computer. But when I try to install the app, I get a message that the mobile is not compatible for this app. So perhaps it might be as well to go back to basics for the Samsung Galaxy S3? Or is there any good solution to the problem? I also can't remove the feature because I'm forced to install the app on other devices.

Camera crash - go into the camera setting, you will get kick out of camera apps. Trying to access the phone dialler, halfway accessing the dialer menu like open up the dial pad....Phone become totally FREEZE!!! Press power button or touch screen not even response. Have tried clear cache for both dialer and camera or even try wipe cache partition..... Won't solve the problem. Any help or solutions? Thank you. Phone : GT-I9300

probabilmente sbagli sequenza con le dita/tasti per entrare nella recovery TWRP semplicemente, invece di volume+ magari schiacci volume- oppure non bene i tasti,capita... la guida funge alla grande, provata oggi stesso con successo da mio figlio.

copy the Zip Files to internal storage of your phone or to SD Card then install them

A bit laggy due to low Ram I think like my Galaxy Express i8730. there arent many Roms for the i9305 version. It has 2gb Ram. dont know why

@@TechN3D I have tried installing on that, the OS got installed but the camera app was not working on that. Also, there was an issue with the imei number.

Thank you Bro. I make some problem in Samsung SHV-E210L. Actually I flashing TWRP GT-I9300 and It was work! And I flashing Lineage 17.1 and It is succesfully install! And it work! But Back key,Home key,menu key,wifi connect doesn't work. How to fix them? I can give Email address
