I think that gold version of this phone is the most beautiful phone ever made. I recently saw someone using it on subway without a cover and even though it's anciently old, I was blown away by how good it looked, it was a total head-turner! Even new Samsung phones don't look that good anymore.
Agreed! I used to have it years ago and never put a case on it. What a beauty it was and it was so ergonomic! And that 16MP camera was great, still have concert recordings from it and they're great quality considering the age. I then had the Note8,9 and now S20 Ultra and none of them come close to that design.
I recently switched from an iPhone to the s6 edge plus and I love it. The s6 edge plus is very fast, hast great battery life, a great screen, takes amazing photos, and has a plethora of optional customization and much much more. I think I'm going to be with android for a long long time.
+David Lemonheead Android has always been better than Apple, people with iPhones just don't realize it. I'm glad you like it though. You'll find that Google gives you way more freedom with your phone.
I have iPhone X and S8+ and i had S6 edge gold which i still have. And i bought a black sapphire S6 edge recently as my third phone. Guys s6 edge+ and s6 edge are most beautiful phones ever

Anthony Johnson I see your point and I agree, it doesn't hinder the usage and fucntion of the phone. It's just a thing that bothers some people like me because you have to wipe it so it doesn't look ugly. You won't see all those fingerprints when you have a white one compared to black.
The S6 edge plus is one of my favorite designs by Samsung even in 2019. It was smooth, fast, and I loved the camera. I had the S9 plus and just wasn't that impressed.
I went from a iPhone 5 to a S6 edge+ (gold platinum) and could not be happier. This phone feels so freaking premium. The only negative I have to say about it is that the battery life isn't as good and the fingerprint sensor works well but not great.
I loveree this phone, this phone is still a flagship for Samsung. they don't have another 5.7 inch flagship for the s7. I'm very happy with my S6 Edge Plus! Everyone looks at it and always say it's gorgeous.
Just got this, phone i strongly recommend getting this phone, it has excellent speed and has by far one of the best cameras on the market....GET THIS PHONE
So why people even use wireless charging , I mean like it's a charging pad connected to the wall and you put your phone on top of it and have to put it exactly on the center and you can't move the phone to use it while charging , While in the other hand wired charging still connected to the wall but it's also connected to the phone but at least you can move it around much more and it's faster , Samsung claims it's fast wired is 90 mins and wireless 120 mins . So really I don't get the point why anyone would use that .
+Emad Mohamed a situation I could think of is going to a restaurant that for example as a charging pad next to the table for you, and you just put your phone on it while sitting. wireless charging is not a very used feature now, but in near future it will be used much more
+Emad Mohamed I have a wireless charging pad set up right infront of my monitor at work. That way i can just place the phone down on top. Before I would have to fish for the wire as it would fall behind the desk. Its cool and convenient. Don't have to plug anything in and when 5:00PM hits I just snatch up the phone and off i go!
I'm looking to switch to Android after having used an iPhone 6 for about a year. I thought this looked a little big, but I'm considering getting a S6 Edge+ anyways, for the extra RAM and improved battery.
I dropped my Note 4 to get the s6 edge and I love it but now that the s6+ is out I could get the best of both worlds. Size and unique style. I had a chance to use it in the store and I can't wait till I could get one of my own. (which will be soon) :)

the battery life is great guys. well for me, I left for school at 6pm and it was 100% , and I left school at 9pm, and my phone was on 75%. and I was on Instagram, ect.
I tried it several times at the store but the curves makes the screen definitely seems distorted to me. Also it's really beautiful without case but case is a must have for this phone as it's very easy to slip from user's hands.
I switched over from an iPhone 5 to a Galaxy s4 when both those phones were new. The reason I did that is because Samsung was innovative, Apple seemed to be following Samsung and taking baby steps. Now it seems completely backwards. I'm quite sure I'll be switching back to an iPhone when the 6s comes out...
+Tyler Hough Just get the Galaxy S5 which is better than the GS6... Geez! Octacore CPU, waterproof/dustproof, microSD up to 128GB plus whatever your internal handset has, removable battery that is BIGGER capacity than the GS6 and the extra air gestures and shit that they removed recently to dumb the GS6 down for Apple people to be able to comprehend and use sucks! :(
hey guys i have been using the edge plus for 2 weeks now, i can say that there are many negative features.. The most annoying thing for me is the speakers being at the bottom of the phone, i almost all the time keep my fingers there therefor blocking the sound.. it gets so annoying. The volume buttons are way too high up the phone i can hardly use them with one hand.. Another problem is that when im texting or writing something the palm of my hand touches the screen at random places and i am interrupted . I DONT like the selfies on this phone is just doesnt look cool to me. On the plus side the screen is amazing, you can put the brightness so low which is important for me. the camera is awesome and thats about it. so if you are going to buy this phone have a think about all these things i have said. if you have any questions then just ask.
it's not worth changing from the s6 edge to the plus. maybe it's just me but I think my screen is big enough, and the missing IR blaster kinda kills it.
***** I used to use Nova Launcher and it wasn't as fast as the native launcher, but regardless, my point still stands, Samsung should stop trying to force Flipboard onto people.
***** Yes, when I had an HTC years ago it was a lot more sluggish, luckily Samsung's fixed the main reason I used Nova Launcher, which is tile space. On the Note 5 you can customize how many apps you want per tile and increase how many tiles you can have in total, I used to run out of space before.
The true king ever. Who cares if you don't need it, it leads all Apple smartphones anyway. So amazing plus. I can't wait to put my hands on that precious baby.
When you plug in to charge with the fast charger, it'll let you know what it's done charging when you hear a high pitch sound.. or maybe that sound is letting you know it's about to explode... :/
I'm beginning to doubt Lahn's opinions because nearly every phone he had reviewed has been an Editor's Choice phone. AA just introduced this title so when every phone Lahn reviews has this badge I have to think that it doesn't mean much.
just kinda disappointed with the removal of IR Blaster... I am okay with no microSD card since i have used my G2 for 2 yrs without running out of storage. But i am used to having my phone as a remote for my home appliances...
Is it worth getting this phone now or holding off for the Samsung S7s?? The pricing is not too bad for this phone on contract now, but I don't want to get it to find out the S7 Edge is coming and is a killer....
awesome review 😉 i have this device ..i found S6 Edge Plus had plenty of punch from the main speaker (little crackling) with some tybe of music and when you activate speaker when making a call i replaced my phone with a new one but the new make the same its normal !!?
