why is this even a comparison, android is allways better than iphones

I had an iPhone 6, sold it and eventually bought an S7 Edge about a month ago and have never regretted it. Obviously the iPhone wins. Because it will still be functional and won't be a piece of shit in 9 months time.

The international S7 Edge would have left her about 45% battery remaining at the end of the day (versus the slower american S7 Edge). International S7 Edge is also a lot faster than the slow American version, has much better RAM management (apps stay open, even if you open a few big games), and the battery lasts much longer (I get with my Exynos S7 Edge about 8 - 10 hours of screen on time over 2 full days, auto-brightness, 4G+ mostly (70% of time 4G+, 30% of time on WiFI), sync enabled). When you use the phone indoors at ~20% brightness, expect to lose ~7-8% PER HOUR with continuous usage like playing candycrush/webbrowsing/facebook/chatting. I lost after 50 min candy crush at ~45% brightness 8% battery btw.

I'm not using samsung phones again. I went from S6 to 6s Plus because I don't want to deal with screen burn in problems, the 3 hours battery life, waiting forever for marshmellow (canadian S6 STILL DOES NOT HAVE IT), and the constant small lags I get while browsing while taking pictures and while going into menus. Seriously Samsung, if your machine is so good why can't you get the user experience better? I am now a fan of Apple after using android phones for years. the iPhone is simply amazing, completely lag free 10 hours sot, great display that actually look much smoother than AMOLED, and I can rest assured I will get future updates upon release. 1000 bucks totally worth.

Definitely envy the Galaxy's screen resolution, homescreen widgets, multitasking, waterproof, and expandable storage. Not so much that glass back or Android apps. Love iOS and apps, aluminum build, having access to Apple and Google content, seamless communication with my other Apple products, the infinite amount of case offerings and accessories, and overall stability. Not so much the lower screen resolution, or lack of a Google widget. So the video is right...it merely comes down preferences.

Hi folks, As pretty keen Android user I can easily appreciate the greatness of both phones. However as my mobile usage matures I start to accept the fact that integrating software with hardware is absolutely beautifully done by Apple. The Geekbench interpretation in the video is absolutely incorrect, as the quality of the user experience is decided by single core performance in 90% of the cases, and this is the area which iPhone has always dominated. 10-core Android phones with multicore scores of 30% more than iPhone 6s' cannot outperform it by any means in real life. Also iPhones depreciate less as percentage, because 2-year old Android flagman is now worth a dime, while iPhones keep resell value. Also the goddamn operating system updates! The whole broken chain between Google, manufacturers, mobile carriers and users is so annoying that I dont even to talk about it in details. The fact is that we on Android are often deprived of prime software experience and latest generation security and usability features. Such a shame. Android is a great idea realized horribly. Two years from now and the Galaxy S7 will be forgotten and stuck with Android N at best, with resell value of $200, while iPhone 6s plus will have iOS 12 and will be solid performer. I'm really sad how the openness and customization abilities of Android are offset by its huge weaknesses.

The S7 will my next upgrade in October.

Display resolutions 9. Music support 10. Algorithms in internal performance Android over comes all this but ppl still prefer iPhone for the passion of engineering of the parts and design. It's a safe investment in a long run.

Since the Galaxy S2 every new model has won over the iPhone counterpart but that's only what the geeks say.

I know the S7 is a great phone, as is the iPhone great too, but for me personally it all comes down to a good ecosystem, iOS is far more superior with better app selection, also as many people already know, the iPhone is the one that get the apps first, for me the iPhone is the clear winner in every regard.

Now Samsung may have better camera coloring, Apple has slo-mo camera and higher security. Samsung also overheats and gets really hot. Apple is also thinner which makes for easier storage space. And apps come out first for apple. I personally use Apple, but to each their own.

The Galaxy's camera is also sooo much better than the Iphone's. The only thing the Iphone has is better slow-mo.

I guess it comes down to which eco-system you prefer ...many have said that in their circles, everyone has an iPhone, and its just easier to interact (iMessage, Facetime, iTunes, Apple Music, Apple Pay etc.) Two great phones at any rate.

Two things that bother me about about videos iPhone vs Samsung videos: 1. They never mention the widget window on the iPhone - where you swipe down from the top of the phone. (Which I actually like better coming from an Android device) 2. Samsung phones are always lightning fast when you first buy them, but after a couple of months, they start to lag every time. I've been an Android user since the OG G1, but I switched to the iPhone when the 6Plus was released. Maybe I've just gotten older, but there is something to be said for simplicity, quality, and dependability of iPhones. They just work when I need them to work. They don't flake and they don't need tweaking. When problems arise, I can walk into any Apple Store and get my issue fixed. You can't put a price on that.

Right now I have the iPhone 6S Plus. I had the Samsung Galaxy S2, S4, then lastly the Note 5. I really liked the 3 phones however the S4 and Note 5 after 5 months had lagging issues and battery problems. The biggest reason why I stoped buying Samsung was how many preloaded apps it has and the S4 and Note 5 I would have to take a trip to Verizon weekly due to SIM card problems. Had the iPhone 6S plus for 8 months now and not had 1 problem. Battery life blows away all the Samsung's I've had.

The video stabilization on the S7 is made only with an OIS no software involved. On the other side there is an intense software enchantment which you could eventually add later on the S7 raw shooting.

Since Jobs' passing, Apple is not the company they used to be. This comparison was not even close. I am not an Android fanboy. In fact, I have 2 Apple computers, but when it comes to phones, Apple is falling behind. I'm going to trade in my Note 4 for the S-7 edge. Your reviews are detailed and objective.
