Seriously. WTF. I just clicked on it since I saw the Verge and then was confused when they were comparing it against the iphone 7. Then I saw the date it was uploaded.
oze hahaha thats what I saw and then I was like yes, will purchase....what most people don't realize is that when you have to use the same port to charge and listen to music you 1. can't charge your phone will listening to music (which is 95% of what I do on my commute to work and I don't currently own a car that has Bluetooth, only aux), 2. you end up wearing out that port significantly sooner than you would if there were two ports (and we all know apple likes to nickle and dime for those replacement pieces...can we say $20 at least....seems like an apple tax lol.....basically this rambling was to say thank you galaxy tor keeping our aux jack.
Ishaan R Tiwari oh yeah I'm using nexus 5 currently and was looking for and upgrade to the iPhone that's coming out but now seeing this boy .... decisions decisions
exxodas I'm telling y'all . THIS , is a Phone , idk about the iPhone8 that came out on september but I saw the S8 at the mall . it look really nice and classy .it's the Alpha phone
I like the shape of the screen. It's really satisfying and different. I won't switch from my 7plus, but that doesn't mean it isn't an amazing phone too.
I was planning to buy it, but after watching the live just now I kinda think twice about it :/, I'll just wait for note 8 to replace my 5, for now 7plus is enough.
Samsung is Samsung. They have so much to offer. They have a wide range of phones. Someone up there in the sky is pretty grateful & graceful towards apple iPhones that they still survive. but not for long my friend. not for long. they remind me of the East India Company.
One thing that I would like Samsung to change in there new flagship phones are there default icon designs. Please make it more crisp and sharp looking. The icon designs are old now and needs renovation. That's all. Thanks.
Sambit Rath I honestly really want an s8 but I'm gonna stick with iPhone not cause of the phone itself but the entire Apple ecosystem. That's why people stick with Apple. It's not one particular device that makes it good. It's the fact that my phone, watch, and laptop are integrated seamlessly and it takes no effort or special apps or programs or anything. If it wasn't for that I would so get this
According to some photos, the 6.2 inch screen is only the same size as an iphone 6s+ without the iphone bezels. 6.2inches in that small body is quite nice. I happen to like big screens. :)
bakkerman73 are you dense? most cases cut an extra long hole to accommodate the camera and the flash bulb. What makes you think they can't stretch the hole 2 centimeters to accommodate a fingerprint sensor as well?
erswed don't worry, the 10th iPhone will just be a cheap samsung galaxy tab s2 screen protector, no camera, no speakers, no buttons and the best part is... it won't even run! Unlimited Battery and flexibility! it will just cost you 1000$. Apple, because we are sellouts
Raid- Aid: yea im pretty sure Apple is so philanthropistic and good comapany when they have all around the world under aged kids working to built an IPhone
red... but nobody cares about red... all people put case... sooo never see the red!!!... its stupid new iphone.. mine its the 6splus... and doing exactly like ip7
The new glass they use doesn't really need a screen protector anymore. I've had the s7 edge since launch. I've dropped it a hundred times and scratched it a bunch and it still looks new.
Allen Tom What? When I bought my phone at Verizon they gave me a screen protector and it works perfectly fine. I haven't even heard of the s pen not working with a protector
I have the Galaxy S6 edge + and I promise, I have dropped it so many times landing on the screen and it never cracked until last week 😭😭 I've had it for over a year and a half.
Beautifully shot and edited video like always but like always this video is biased. What do you mean "it has HDR if you are in that sort of thing"? It's not about being in that sort of thing it's about pushing display technology forward on phones. If it was Apple who had HDR on their display you guys would say "but it doesn't have HDR" when reviewing other phones. Don't you guys get tired of praising Apple and not giving the other companies props when they do something better than Apple. By the way I own an iPhone 7 Plus so there's not biased here.
prettylolitadoll well if you're talking about? updates to the newest Android, sure that takes a bit maybe like 2-6 months. But if your worried about security, there's literally monthly updates for security! so yeah lol
wassup life the next one have a new feature well they did had it on their previous phones a headphone jack and still people will praise it as a new thing and buy it still
Dave Jennings - the s7 edge has similar contours and there are protectors for it. Besides where do people put their phones that they even need screen protectors these days? I've used smartphones for close to 10 years now and I've only ever used one once, took it off after one day as it irritated the hell out of me.
Dave Jennings I would agree with the other repliers. I've been using the s7 for about 7 months. As a teen user, I've dropped it far more times than I'd like to admit and it have never gotten a single scratch or crack without a screen protector. It's amazing. Granted, I do use a thin case (definitely not an otterbox tour of defending case). However if you do want a screen protector for a phone like this but they can be a pain to put on and to use when you have a phone case.
Bob,, Starving, Sam, Keturah, etc., I had my S7 Edge a total of 1 week. dropped it from a height of 1 foot, it was in a case, UAG to be exact with screen protector. Landed on the edge, cracked screen and display beneath. No insurance, in 12 years of cell phones never needed it. Repair bill $575. The edges when are an Achilles heel, a quite common issue.
exactly! I really don't like idea to make phones with bigger screens, I really like screen between 4.7-5 inches and when I need bigger screen I just take my 11" tablet.
Z Man Or they'll remove the built in speaker and force you to buy a Bluetooth speaker of theirs for $299. (But you could just buy a third party speaker)
Galaxy S8 is my 3rd Samsung galaxy device in a row. I will say this. The Galaxy 7 Edge plus battery sucked after 1 year. Now I'm rocking the S8 and this is the sexist phone ice ever used. The glass literally melts into the frame. The OS is fast as fvck. This is probably the best cell phone I've ever used before.
Actually it’s very helpful for people who see something they don’t know the name for it. I used it to buy a bike i saw that I didn’t know the name off.
Damn time flies by ...im holding a S21+ and let me tell you samsung phones have only downgraded from s9 ..no MST, No Iris Scanner, No QHD + Screen , No gear VR
Had this phone since may. It's been almost perfect. Sometimes a little glitchy on the screen but all of the features added to the phone (besides bixby) are amazing. I'd rate 4/5 stars ❤
switched from Apple and got an s7 edge and I have to say I do love a lot of things about it... the s8 looks amazing... it will be interesting to see how the iPhone 8 shapes up compared to this one
Achiri Achoh I think its good to skip 2 or 3 generations, buy S1 skip 2 and 3 and get S4. Then skip 5 and 6 and get the s7(i got the s6 cuz my s4 fell and the screen cracked at the corner with 2 crack lines across the screen also the s6 looked sexy when it came out). Im totally skipping the s7 and s8 and i believe the s9 will be majestic. Hopefully you got an iphone and kept the s7. Just to have different phones for different occasions.
I mean the new iPhone 8 is coming out later so it's pretty stupid comparing a brand new phone that's coming out later and a phone that came out last year
I have been using S8 for over a month now and I love it. Before buying it I put so much thought into it, as it is expensive and I wasn't sure if it's going to be worth the money but after buying it I don't regret one bit, the best and the fastest phone I have used thus far. If anyone thinking of buying one, you should.
