I found out why, you have to go to settings then go to general settings. Once you are in general settings go to date and time then turn on Automatic date and time
@belly tripper Like, I'm sure he's a horrible person, just an absolute monster, but this worked immediately for me, so I don't know what to tell you. :)
Holy smokes, it worked! Went through all the steps, and the last step, where I disconnected and reconnected to the network, is what did the trick. Wow. Thanks, you saved me!
You're a legend! Was so frustrated as my tablet was the only device to NOT connect to new modem. I use my tablet for everything! Your video saved me. Worked like a charm. Thank you 👍👍😁
Thanks so very much! I was having problems with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, with error messages about Low connections. I couldn't open any of my apps so uninstalled many of them and still was having problems. :( Check all of my settings, for WiFi - everything, nothing. Then logged on to my computer and did a search and came upon your site and watched your video, unsure since you are referencing SG Tab A, if it would work, but it was very helpful, and did resolve my problems. I just unplugged my router and plugged back in and it's working. Thanks soooo much for your video. Very helpful info. 😘 Carlotta
What I found worked the best was to return the tablet and buy something other then Samsung. This was motivated by Samsung by the poor customer support they had. My new tablet works great.
Thank you so much! New Subbie here! I depend on my Samsung Tablet for entertainment purposes and I am not the most computer savvy. I almost gave up, mentally preparing to get on the phone and wait for a long time to speak with a Customer Service Rep, until I came across this video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. May GOD Bless you abundantly!!!
thanks you suggestion worked. the ISP support told me to take my tablet to the store to get it looked at. all i had to do was turn the on off button for wifi connectivity a few times and it solved the problem
Tried all of these already on a tab A from 2016 and it doesn't connect. I even reset the tablet which then was another issue because this tablet can't complete the set up without Internet connection. It connects for a few seconds and keeps disconnecting repeatly. I think is an issue with the tablet cause is old... They try to force you to buy a new one.
Ive also had this problem and yes i did need to buy a new one i do not recommend buying this tablet at all it has alot of issues after like three months of use its technically a scam.
When all that fails, what do I do??? My tab shows that the wifi is on but next to the wifi icon it has an exclamation mark which doesn't go away not matter what. I have tried all your tips but still not working. Thanks
Lost power yesterday, but all other devices worked after internet came back online . Connection was locked on Tab A. Couldn’t connect no matter what I did. So I added our network as if we didnt have it. That fixed it.
I know it is a year later but if you still haven’t gotten it to work change it to automatic time zone. I saw someone else on the comment section suggest it and it worked for me.
None of these worked mine still wont stay connected😭 and I lost my receipt and the agent I spoke to from Samsung said that they couldn't even verify my serial number. I'm so confused.
If you haven't already done so, go to settings and "Device". It tells you everything about your phone. I'm surprised they didn't tell you this. Hope this helps.
Jesus..Jesus..Jesus...Why is it that hardly anybody that posts these kindergarten videos, don't ever clue in that some of these technical problems are just not that simple to fix?. If your goal was to teach a bunch of first grader techies, well I guess that's your audience
Thanks. by restarting, and toggling off and on I got my tablet to connect. Sometimes we just don't think of the simple things, and need to be prompted.
i did but google browser never work maybe the auto update never complete and the galaxy tab is obsolete caused google store also suddenly cannot open too
thank you for your video but none of the options worked this is fairly new tablet and I did not make a single change on it, one day it just decided it wouldn't connect to the internet any more.
It’s not my wifi bc everything else in my house is on the wifi even my phone and it’s working perfectly fine. The problem is when I turn on the wifi button on my tablet it turns grey and I can’t click on it. Same with the Bluetooth
i dont think one of these solutions helped me, every online game still disconnects and wifi randomly disconnects. and i think 124 gigs are taking up stuff.
All these fixes work, but not for long. I've binned mine, an A8 and good riddance. I now have a Lenovo and it just connects and works every time. So did the Google Nexus ( made by Asus) which I had before the Samsung. Samsung don't care. After 5 Samsung TVs I just bought an LG. I'm not wasting more cash with Samsung- ever!
