I have an A7, have had it for about 2 weeks. I love it. Only downside is the inability to move apps to the micro SD card. Hopefully one day Samsung will do an update to fix that error.
I just got my Tab A7 this morning. Been using it and loving it a lot, and since I have a few things already for my phone, like a folding bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mouse, I just paired them and boom, works real well, and also have a book cover type case (not the official Samsung Book Cover case but one very similar) so I can put the tablet in my laptop bag, the keyboard fits right in with it, and the mouse fits into one of the front pockets, plus I have a 26800mah power bank so I can charge the tablet on the go, as well as the mouse and keyboard if need be, and if I use them, my Galaxy Buds. Mine didn't come with a screen protector, not sure if they are suppose to or not, but I am aiming for a gorilla glass screen protector to add better protection to the screen
Many people ask him for the stylus that he can recommend for this tablet. The answer is, this Galaxy Tab A7 doesn't support the S-Pen, or another active pen. You only can use capacitive stylus that has rubber, mesh, disk or electronic tip that basically works on any screen. If you buy this tablet because you want to write down precise notes or precise drawing, you will be disappointed.
Good call on the K780! I adore that keyboard and use it as my daily driver for my desk setup. I love the K380 for my tablet and phone as well. No prop part but my cases are too thick anyway so I don't mind.
I only got my A7 yesterday and so far i love it. I also got a keyboard case from amazon. It is a Tech Gear one which works well in my opinion and if you are in the UK it has a normal QWERTY keyboard unlike alot of the others which are American in their lay out.
We were awarded/gifted with this tablet by our hospital just recently. We have the 3GB/32GB/4G LTE model. My questions are: 1. When you make or receive calls without any accessories, do you use the speaker by default and only that? Or is there an earpiece where you should put the tablet to your ear to make the conversation like 7- and 8-inch phablets? 2. With a USB-C to HDMI dongle, can I project the tablet's screen to my TV? 3. Are there user profiles/user accounts where different people can sign-in with his/her own log-in account? I haven't unboxed it yet. TIA.
Cool video here. Just bought my A7 last week cause my LG 8" tablet finally passed away and so far, I love it _(though there are a few features I miss from my trusty LG tab)._ I really like a lot of the accessories you featured. Only thing I will say is that Samsung does make a keyboard cover for the A7. I was going to buy it but, I wound up buying a bluetooth keyboard instead as well as a shockproof case with hand strap so I can watch Netflix or other videos as I walk and keep track of my progress with a pedometer app...
Logitech Universal Folio available from Logitech is the keyboard case for many tablets sized 9 - 10 inches including 10.5" iPad, 10.5" Galaxy Tab, Galaxy A7 and smaller sizes for other tablet brands.
Can we mount otg and use keyboard mouse in galaxy tab A7. I was thinking about using it but in other phones there is an option in the settings about turn on otg and not in the tab A7. Plz tell can we mount otg or not
The Logitech Keys to Go has a device to attach keyboard to tablet. Can that piece be purchased separately? Or does any company sell a similar product? Jim
It's been ages to come here to see some tab news..as I used to watch tab reviews before buying one and I was like ok let's come later and infact bought the Samsung tab a7... This channel used to one of the best guide for buying a new tablet according to your use and budget..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Keep doing this brother...
Anyone have an idea how to get a game controller to work on the a7? I can't find any info online anywhere regarding this problem.I've never had this problem on an Android device until the a7. My Nvidia Shield controller connects via Bluetooth and works just fine navigating the menus on the tablet. When I open an app though. It's completely different story. No matter what android compatible controller I use. The moment I launch a game or app. The controller stops working . Even though it's still connected via Bluetooth
Is it worth $120 used but in almost new condition (new in my country cost $230 as of now)? Or should I go with the much more expensive S6+? What I don't like about this one spec-wise is very low brightness, no active pen support, and 32GB. BUT is that really worth the +$260 (a new S6+ cost now $380)? An extra plus for the S6+ is that it's -9 gram (not sure if that is noticeable or not after 20min of holding). Hope I get an answer asap.
thanks for nice work , always liked your tablet reviews......suggest me some tablet after Mediapad M5 10.8 which i own at the moment.........better screen, faster.......beside Tab S7 , S6 and iPad pro ......is there any ?!?
HALLELUYAH,SIR PLEASE AM USING THIS SAME GALAXY TAB A 7,PLEASE HOW AM I GOING TO GET ALL THAT Accessories of it an I am in Nigeria, including the price bless you
thank you, nice review, brisk but lots of solid information and you seem to be discriminating in what you consider just adequate and what's higher quality. I was pretty set to buy a folding case and keyboard.... but then you showed the logitech portable keyboard and i can see it make s things more compact. It was hard for me to tell if you were actually rec'ding it it over the covers with keyboards??
Just got a new A7 Galaxy tablet....disappointed that the font and keyboard cannot be made larger.....I have it at the max size and find it difficult to use the keyboard.I am considering buying a new keyboard and case.
Heyy Actually my headphone jack side is damaged and I can't pluck my headphone there. So does it support type C to 3.5mm earphone cable?? Should I buy that earphone cable or not?
We've come to appreciate a headphone jack as a rare commodity these days. Why the heck do they claim evolution and improvement by removing useful features?? When it's actually nothing but shameless cost cutting, selling us devices that cost less to manufacture for more!
Can I connect an external HDD with this tab? Can this tab read a 2TB HDD? And does USB 2.0 mean slow transfer speeds of files from say a flash drive to this tab? But since this tab has SSD (like any other tab), and a flash/pen drive also has SSD, shouldn't the transfer be fast from SSD to SSD, even though USB port is 2.0?
Hi, im wondering which tablet should i buy (s6 or a7) if i use it for making google docs and arranging meeting in my google calender and zoom for my work. Very much appreciate your input. Thank you
Chromebook is a bit more expensive but that comes with a lot more features. I am a owner of this tablet and I think that the chromebook is a better choice.👍👍👍👍
I do own the same. It is a big upset as Samsung not offering g official keyboard Further, can u help wrt whatsapp. Can’t I use in landscape by default. The camera orientation is prob when I use WhatsApp.
I don't do much typing, and wouldn't justify having a keyboard. When I do type, I find a floating on screen keyboard, and a pen, much easier. You can alter they keyboard type, somewhere, but I don't recall how right now. This is the first USB C thing that I have had. I bought a dual end USB C, and USB 2 memory stick, which works real good. I also have a adaptor lead, rather than a solid adaptor. I think it is much less likely for me to drop or knock it, and break it. A long piece sticking out the side is just asking to be broken off, the way I use things. Mega Tablet fan, love you videos.
It's for the Galaxy Tab A7 released in 2020. If you mean the Galaxy Tab A8, which has been announced at the end of 2021, then yes, I'll have a video like this in about a month or so.
Was just reading reviews of cover cases with keyboards -- someone finally pointed out: THESE DONT ALLOW ROTATION OF THE TABLET from landscape to portrait. So maybe the logitech IS the better solution.
Yes that's the case with most keyboard covers except stand-alone keyboards like the Logitech Keys To Go. No keyboard cover for the Tab A7 is amazing, so it's hard to recommend one. If you're mostly working at home, I would get a proper desktop class keyboard like the Logitech K380. Something like the Keys To Go is fine for occasional typing only but I wouldn't work on it for hours everyday.
It should work if the external usb drive does not need much power. But I destroyed an external SSD with the iPad 7 and a cheap adapter once... So... I can't promise that it's save because sometimes you never know and lose 200$^^
@@B4peace How do you like it? I've had my a7 for a couple of days and I really like it so far. Just right for what I need it for. Now I'm gonna look for some accessories.
