This does work, it took a lot of research for this 2021 model, as I almost didn't buy it. does it send and receive texts, yes it does and yes it does take calls to, and I for one is very happy it does. In fact, the application detects you're not on a Samsung and automatically asks you to download the official add on, once downloaded, you don't need to worry, you won't see it as a second app, I did this in a sony Experia 1 |||. I'm yet to test the play store apps for monitoring heart rate ect but the apps are there to be downloaded via the app linking to the play store.

Hii there. I'm trying to pair my device but after the google account part i get directed to the SOS emergency settings and after that the app crashes and cannot pair my watch. Does anybody know how to make it work? Best regards

It is not clickbait... huawei does not longer support Android and Google Services my friend. It is stated in the Samsung Watch website that only phones that supports Google Mobile Services can connect to the Watch.
Yes it is clickbait.. Huawei Mate20Pro has GMS installed from factory, and Even Watch Active2 is installed, but when trying to add this watch4 it says The phone is not supported
