@@KingsleyGeorgePouponeau the case trust me it’s worth it i can wear the watch all day it’s comfortable protective it’s taken a few knocks on doors tables falls it’s great protective. Also i recommend the spigen screen protector for the watch for that additional protection gives that extra security regardless how strong the glass you can be too careful Lastly just enjoy it you love it 😎

Yep. I love my Galaxy Watch 5 too, but some of these guys have hardly any meat or muscle on their bones so struggle. Haha!

True. Battery life on this falls below average compared to a lot of smartwatches we've tried too. It also probably has something to do with power hungry hardware like wi-fi etc. So far, I think this is their best effort when compared from others in the series. I did the same upgrade and I regreted immediately because gt2 pro is better looking and this wear os on galaxy has nothing over huawei to offer really. List off apps is small and not developing so think twice my friend or go for huawei gt3 pro. Huawei ecosystem is stable and have everything anyone will ever need.

The main factor of wearOS is Google which always accurately responds to messages using voice and using google assistance.

Got Huawei GT3 at the minute and it's does everything I need, accurate heart rate while cycling and basic notifications, the other stuff on my old galaxy watch 4 I never used and the battery was flat every day.

The Garmins and Huwaei Watches aren't really on the same level as Samsung, Apple and other smartwatches as they have limited smart features so can use light software that uses less power therefore the battery can last a lot longer. Wear OS is power-hungry, especially when using LTE, but you then have a watchphone on the wrist.

@@simdencard the Samsung watch did nothing extra i actually needed, to use it daily and track my cycle to and from work it actually was dead nearly before I got home.

@Simon Tribbeck I have had the Huwaei Watches also and still have the Huawei GT Runner which I sometimes use and miss the long battery, but at the moment I'm at a time in my life where I find the blood pressure monitoring, body composition, lte, Spotify streaming, Samsung pay, along with standalone Google maps more useful as the Samsung 5 Pro lte is a smartwatch first, and fitness tracker a distant second. The thing is none of these watches are perfect, so you have to pick one for your use. For example, I miss seeing my training load, which is not available in Samsung Watches unlike Garmin and Huwaei Watches, which have training load, recovery times etc.

@@simdencard yeah that's the thing really at the moment it's fitness tracker first and smartwatch second for me :)

Hi! I used Xiaomi and realme phones for this review and I didn't experience any limitations except I was not able to use the blood pressure sensor.

There's actually a lot you can't do, like you can't use dnd sync mode, camera feature, ecg, blood pressure, wifi remote calling, AR emoji customisation and a few more things. I'm using a poco phone with my watch 4 classic.

@@meeraalim91 thank you for that clarification. We're able to use camera controls paired with Xiaomi and realme. I haven't tried the others you mentioned but will check. 👍

I use the camera feature through a third party app unlike how it works with the stock app on Samsung smartphones. But yeah, let me know if any other features work.

Just get a samsung galaxy phone

I receive all notifications on LTE mode..

@@EsthardStyleHQ really I was with tmobile and they tried everything but on lte stand alone with my phone off the watch did not get text messages

@Ranzkki you think you can do a vid on the watch receiving text messages and sending on lte only with your phone off ?

I am on T-Mobile with LTE and get notifications just fine

@M. B. do you recieve them when your phone is off? That was my issue when my phone was off the watch would only get calls but not text
