@itsdaji2744 I love the 5 Pro. It's held up very well. I don't have the easiest of jobs being a diesel mechanic and pretty rough on it. This thing has taken a pounding and still in great shape
I hope you are really satisfied with the half reduced battery life as well lol, have you watched the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button? I hope you get the hint
From what I read so far I will go pro as bigger battery and show routes, if can charge from phone I might be split again as I carry 2 20,000mah battery bank with me each day to keep my tablet charged My wish is a metal watch strap as I prefer over fabric, plastic, leather (I hate fake leather most)
just wondering how much does samsung pay you to post these fake comments? it's highly idiotic and retarded to go for watch 6 when the watch 5 pro has 95% of the same features and almost twice as battery life
I'm so confused why they made the Galaxy 6 Classic bigger (47mm up from 45mm) but gave it a smaller battery. Everyone's biggest complaint with the Galaxy Watch 4 was the battery life so they responded with a bigger, more efficient battery with the 5 Pro only to go the other way for the 6 Classic. I'll never understand these companies.
They had to juggle the weight of the watches. If the classic had a bigger battery, the watch would be heavier than it already is. The watch 5 pro is made of Titanium which means lighter, I hardly notice it on my wrist but I sure know when I have the classic on.
I got the watch 6 classic, 47mm and got the tab s 9 ultra at the same time, got £600 discount. I don't see the problem in charging every day, the roataing bezel is a game changer.
yup 100% agree, doesn't it feel it's amazing to charge every day with the watch 6 classic? the watch 5 pro sucked because you could only charge it once every 3-4 days, really awful
I got a Watch 4 Classic and bought a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro after seeing the announcement of the new watches . I needed something to pair with my Watch 4 Classic that was more hardcore ... like the titanium case, milimetric adjustable magnetic wristband , huge battery power, and more precise sensors . Got this all with the Watch 5 Pro, and it satisfied me . The lack of a physical rotating bezel is not a problem since the accuracy of the 5 Pro is much better than the Galaxy Watch 4 & 5 .I guess it is because the better hardware and the raised protection above the screen that makes it easier to navigate with the bezel. I will wait now to see if Samsung will either launch a Watch 7 Pro or a 7 Classic with titanium frame and a huge battery. But I'm inclined to go for a Galaxy 7 Pro ...
Battery "issue" doesn't bother me. My watch goes on the charger when I wake in the morning and I'm going about my morning routine. Then I wear it all day until ten at night when I turn into a couch potato and since there isn't much to monitor, I take it off and put it on the charger before I put it back on to wear to bed. Then, repeat. Even if I forget to charge it and it dies, it's not like I don't have a "watch" in my pocket, called a phone.
I have not the 5 pro to compare it to, but the watch 6 classic for now lasts me 2 days (biggest variant), i.e. with no battery saving on, well connected in bluetooth to the phone almost all the time, and with always on display always on. For me it really is night and day compared to my previous watch, the v4.
Do you have continuous heart rate monitoring on? And do you use it for sleep tracking? I have 5 pro myself where I use these features, but not the always on display. I then get about 2+ days.
@@Apedaniel With all that on, I can get about 3 days (5 pro, gps off). Its surely unbeatable by 6 classic. I won't trade it by all means. Soon after the update we'll be getting, battery life is promised to be even better. I have compared it side by side in an outlet and in real life the 5 pro does look more expensive and compared to the smaller classic they actually looks exactly the same(in bulkiness) while the larger classic looks giant. Just for comparison: the Apple watch Ultra which is made of Titanium cost almost double(compared to their stainless counterpart as well compared to samsung pro). I conclude: Samsung 5 pro is THE BEST watch for value you can get.
I got the Watch 5Pro a couple of months back and the battery life lasts 2 days with workouts. Charging every 2 days itself is annoying. I cannot think of sacrificing a day of battery life for a fancy rotating bezel when the digital bezel still serves the functionality in Watch 5 Pro. Save your money, folks.
Let's be honest, who ever notices the so called faster and snappier or brighter screen. The upgrades are basically nothing unless you have a watch 2, 3, or 4.
And on the other hand Ice Universe is getting even more mad at Samsung for making Z Fold 5 a small upgrade and calling Chinese brands a better alternative. But in reality those Chinese brands don't even support Google apps properly and Ice Universe is calling them innovative. Now he's getting trolled on Twitter. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why don't you guys that review these two watches and explain the differences ever talk about the Galaxy watch 5 Pro having the track back feature that the watch 6 classic does not have. Nobody ever mentions these differences
The watch 5 pro is of a much higher quality build than the classic, the materials are different titianium vs stainless steel and other features that the classic hasn't got. Hence, the pro is still more expensive than the classic, despite being newer. I expect them to make a 6 pro at some point, then you'll have it all.
Thank you for making great points in just a few minutes. Instead of these long videos making the same exact points you did. Always look forward to you daily content
just upgraded from watch 5 pro to 6 classic, and screen seems brighter and more vivid and god damn that tact tile turn thingy or what ever its called is so so nice, only had watch for a day now
Guys if you gonna use WhatsApp on your watch it consumes a lot of battery the watch 5 pro makes much more sense in that regard also the latest features coming to wear OS watches the battery life is gonna be more important than anything else. Watch 5 Pro is the right choice and if you already own one don't upgrade
For all the reason you mentioned I got the 6 classic. Screen and size are noticeably better. I'm happy with my decision. We'll see how battery life is. I was ending the day with 75% on my 5 pro.
They have to make the rotating bezel a botton as well , like an enter button or customisable button, also i hope that the next year's watch will have a better chip that the SD W5+ gen 1 and the current exynos w930
Yes I think so it doesn't have that crease like Samsung it's thinner it comes with 5000 mah battery vs 4400 and it cost 1399 here in UK vs 1749 for Samsung only downgrade is ip rating and wireless charging
I have the tab s9 ultra and it's impressive the performance and battery is just perfect I get over a day of battery life just like with my s23 ultra but during time it will learn how I use it and will surpass the s23 ultra size is huge I wouldn't recommend it for most ppl but I have big hands so it's no prob
Samsung did a smart thing by splitting up the classic users now they create a diff user base that wants a pro version now & people who want classic elegant look
I've pre-ordered the Watch 6 Classic 43mm and I'm quite excited. I've used a first gen Galaxy Watch (42mm) for the past like 4 years (I think?) and it's going to be nice to get an upgrade. I intend to sleep with the watch, much like I've done the entire time of having a Galaxy Watch, so I'll be charging my Watch 6 Classic either before bed or in the morning. Super nice that just a 10 - 15 minute charge is enough to keep it going for basically the whole day (and I've got a phone with wireless power share, so I could easily juice my Watch 6 up even when at work if needed during a break)
I pre order Watch 6 44mm and with trade in my watch 4 and Samsung discount the price went down significantly. Bigger battery means bigger weight. Watch 6 classic could weight much more.
I love the rotating bezel on all the galaxy watches but its the first time I won't be upgrading since I've become used to the watch 5 pro amazing battery life i won't be able to go back. Samsung really messed up this time imo.
Great content. When it comes to battery. I have the watch4 44mm. I put my watch on power saver, it doesn't effect any performance. And I'm averaging a good 75 hours per charge.
You got 1 thing wrong, you don't need to charge it every night, I had every Samsung watch since they got into the smartwatch business, non of them I had to charge every night, not even the watch 6 Classic, which I'm wearing right now... So I only charge them every 2 to 3 days, & I used them the regular smartwatch usage: Not too light & not too heavy.
The classic looks better and has the bezel. Bigger brighter display. Coming from a watch 5 I instantly noticed the improved performance on my watch 6 classic, it's so smooth. Glad I upgraded
Right now, it's not confirmed that the Exynos is making a comeback. Leakers are saying so but there's no concrete evidence so far. I would suggest you to wait and see how it goes. If your region is confirmed to get the Exynos then I think you should get the S23 Ultra instead.
On vacation in South Korea right now, accidently swam in salt water with my Galaxy Watch Active which rendered it paperweight. Got my Watch 6 Classic here for ₩329,000 which is about $250 in USD. I'd say I got a pretty solid deal considering I traded nothing in. So far I love this watch, my grandpa got a matching one!
The GW6 classic is a nice looking watch. However, I don't think Samsung did enough to push the boundaries and played it safe again. The other companies are catching up fast.
Samsung really dropped the ball on this one. If I use the W6 Classic as a sleep tracker itll be dead in the morning especially if I use the watch all day and every day the thing will be dead at night. That literally kills sleep tracking. Also a faster chip is barely noticeable to most people,. People don't care a app can open a half second faster if they will be constantly concerned a about battery. Samsung went backwards on this and completely dropped the ball
You’ve not used an Apple Watch. When I bought my Apple Watch 6 in November 2020 I was getting 3(THREE) days of usage on a SINGLE charge. Nowadays I get 1.5 -2 days of usage depending on how I use it. Low power Mode doesn't seem to add any benefit.
had galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm for 4 days now and i prefer over the Watch 5 pro cause of the physical rotating bezel i updated from Samsung Gear s3 frontier
Hey Sal, have you seen One UI 6's new quick settings panel? It's disappointing that Samsung decided to downgrade from the amazing quick settings panel of One UI 5.1 to make it look more like a Chinese skin ripoff.
Just received the Watch 6 Classic, traded in the Watch 5 Pro. The W6C is beautiful and an improvement in every area other than battery. My mistake was upgrading from the Watch 4 Classic to the 5 Pro. Never liked the look, the extra thickness of the 5.
@@thatsthewayxx I believer the watch 6 is more responsive. No scientific proof. I disliked the Watch 5 Pro so much, I would have picked up a Watch 4 Classic. A generous trade in and preorder credit made the Watch 6 in my budget
The 6 being a whopping 47mm is insane its going to make a lot of wrist look smaller than they appear. The 5 Pro being 45mm was already big enough, however manageable. Were people really complaining about the display size, or was this solely a Samsung decision? It looks like some manufacturers are trying to have smartwatches replace modern cell phones.
My Classic Galaxy Watch came today. The watch will not connect to my mobile plan. I dont know what to do. I tried for hours to get the watch to connect to the plan and it still didn't work. I went to TMobile and they told me that it might be a Software problem. I cant believe this.😑
Is anyone seeing a noticeable improvement with regard to LAG or response time from moment you tap/activate vs the time watch reacts? Thats my biggest issue with every watch version!
I got the 5 pro for fishing camping weekend get aways, I just upgraded my phone to flip 5 & got the gw6 classic 50% off plus trade in of phone 800$ off
I will probably cancel my order of 6 classic 47 MM. I was planning to trade in my original Galaxy Watch and keep my 5 pro. But I'm sick and tired of Samsung misleading on delivery dates. When I ordered on July 28, it was supposed to be delivered by August 11. Then, order confirmation email changed it to September 8th. Now it shows September 15th, while the website currently shows August 25 for new orders. It's just a frustrating joke. I think I'm good with passing this model.
Did a trade in for my Watch 5 this yeae. Sammy won't let me trade in Watch 5 for Watch 6 Classic 😢, one trade in per year i guess. I miss the rotating bezel so much.
Battery also depends on what features you actually use.. Even my OLD Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier can still handle 2 days between charges since I don't use many of the features. So a watch 6 Classic should last me about atleast 3-4 days like my S3 Frontier did when it was new. Most people don't need every function activated anyway. And the rated batterylife is with most features turned on.. That's something people forget
no significant difference between the battery sizes? dude .... watch 5 pro surpasses the 6 classic for 165 mAh more!! that in the context of wearables is a big bump!
Huawei Gt 2 and 3 pro has 10 days battery . You should mention that . And i am a Samsung fun buy the way but own a huawei watch for the battery and also everything else is great.
I've got the watch 6 and I wish I'd stuck with my watch 3. Can't customize my ringtone to a music single like I could on the watch 3. You only have a few built in tones to use and all rubbish. At least I could make my watch 3 my own with my own music.
Plus my watch 4 last 2 day and in battery test watch 6 classic went down buy 2% less than watch 4 classic going down 10% so when watch 4 classic run out watch 6 classic at 20%
The Watch6 is still laggy. Battery still sucks. Watch 6 is juet a momey grab. Health reading is slightly worst than Watch5 pro. Do not trade in your 5pro. Do your research first.
I have 2 5 pros since I use an s23 ultra and a fold 5 so need 2. As soon as i saw the battery rating on the 6 classic i laughed and didnt even consider getting it. New tech is supposed to be better on battery (like the fold 5 over fold 4) not worse..they screwed up on this one
I went with the 5 pro recently. Better Battery life. Wears smaller on my wrist, despite the extra depth. I got a crazy discount deal (5 pro was reduced to just 60% the price of a 6 classic) I'd have been more tempted by the 6 classic if it was in the 42mm to 44mm size range but greater diameter with worse battery was not an attractive proposition.
That’s not a good excuse to change the watch because of battery you talk about that or revolution seem to be as nothing change for any future future for people already have galaxy five pro thank you wasn’t
Sorry Sal, but it's a bit dishonest of you, to take the Apple Watch as an excuse to try to justify the very average battery 🔋 life of the Watch 6 Classic. Samsung could and should have added 2mm thickness to at least the Watch 6 Classic 47mm, to have the same thickness as the Watch 5 Pro and thus be able to put the same battery 🔋 size. And especially Samsung should think about updating the ram and rom memory of its watches, use lpddr 3 ram in 2023 on a smartwatch at almost $500, it is really no longer possible, it is sad. For more than 4-5 years, that I follow you, this is the 1st time I put a dislike 👎🏽 on one of your videos. 🙏🏽
Just so you know, your link does not work properly. There is nothing close to a $40 watch 6 classic when using it. In fact, most of the time I can't get Samsung to complete the process, it hangs up going to the final screen. But, at least with the 47MM $179 is the best I could get and I have a discount there equal to the educational discount. Maybe you meant you got that price on the smaller, 44mm? On my OWN, via the Samsung app, I got a deal for $116, with all the same choices of 47mm, black, 6 classic, with indigo band. Same discounts. The missing discount is the one for clicking the link on your RU-vid video here. You might want to talk to them about this. It is not uncommon for Samsung to NOT give the price they say. When you click this link you begin with a price of $429. IF you go there without your link the beginning price is $389 or $399, depending on the website's mood. But, too many don't notice they are overpaying. It is important they pay attention and that you know your link and all those discounts don't actually materialize as suggested in this video. But I still love your work, Just please make sure what Samsung and you are presenting is accurate.
