Hope this helps some of you guys out. Seems like a common enough issue for the Galaxy Watch glass to just... Fall off. Hadn't seen any videos on it (at least not in detail) so wanted to throw this together.
Thanks man. I will try this myself. It already happened 3 times to me. I love this watch, because of the current pricing and long lasting battery life. 1st. one got the back plastic cover unsealed while in the shower and water damaged. Samsung didn't take responsibility because of their stupid guarantee not covering water damage. 2nd time (2nd watch) the cover came out and took it to Samsung while under guarantee and as it wasn't damaged, they fixed it. 3rd time took it to independent repair shop, and didn't do their best job so here I am trying to fix it myself. Thanks for your help and confirmation of waterproofing.
Yeah Samsung seems to be very hit or miss on properly replacing this. If you ever have any doubt, shop around on eBay for a broken unit and swap off the back plate. Then you're 100% golden. But I've been wearing it now like a month and a half and haven't had any issues. Take your time and start off with only a little bit of glue. You can always add more before you put the plate on, but its a huge pain trying to take it away once it's down
