Ordered this watch in this exact color and got it today as well. Mine came with a free trail band. It's so much more comfortable than the Marine band that comes with the watch.
I don't get why so many of these tech reviewers jumping the bandwagon of the galaxy watch ultra looking similar to the apple WU when the galaxy WU clearly and factually looks nothing like the apple WU in terms of appearance whatsoever. Whoever say that the Galaxy WU is similar to the apple WU is just plain ignorant and blind/delusional. Apple WU has a rectangular shape whereas the Galaxy WU has a circular screen with square rounded corners. The Galaxy WU clearly took the design inspiration from their old galaxy gear sport watch that literally has the same exact design. Apple did not even start the orange color way on smart watches nor do they own the color. In fact companies like Pebble and Garmin were one of the first companies who implemented the color orange on their smartwatch way before Apple came out with their first smartwatch. I can't stand people acting this ignorant just because they own an Apple watch or just using a well known company like Apple to compare it to the Galaxy WU.
Apple sheeps for you. They will hate on Samsung as their top competitor and say they are just a gimmick (AI, Galaxy Ring). But gets hyped and will preorder right away if Apple launched it. 😆
Came here to say the exact same thing! As soon as he mentioned it I was ready to stop watching, but skipped a few seconds instead. Like you said, the face is ROUND ffs.

However, the Ultra is still has a circular screen design just with square rounded corner, so I honestly don't know why he chose to get the ultra instead of the regular galaxy watch 7 other than to make a review video on it. Personally, I much prefer the white color way exactly the one he reviewed here reminds me of my old all white gshock watch I used to rock 24/7 back in the days.

The white is the best color of the 3 imo reminds me of my old white gshock. It's a trimmed slimmed down version with added white titanium and white base 😍😍 Samsung took classic watch to another level and I'm not mad!

I had Galaxy Watch, Watch Active 2, Watch 4, Watch 5 Pro and now Watch 6 classic. I love their smartwatch features but the best feature of Watch Ultra is the price - it is so high that it made me upgrade to the big boys level and ordered Epix Pro gen 2. Thank you Samsung
Thank you!! it's the apple fan base that say this but forgetting Samsung galaxy gear watch back in it's early days were square then apple came out and they all turnt a blind eye as it was apple's first watch and they said it was original. I agree the colour scheme is similar but that's it the watch itself looks nothing alike they just like clutching at straws.
im gonna firstly say im an apple sheep but I used to love Samsung but stuff like this is why I switched. Making the "quick action button" orange, the shape of the watch is absolutely inspired on the Apple Watch ultra and you can fight me on that, the packaging, etc. Im not saying they look alike but there is definitely some inspiration taken from apple

@@daniel_s Yes I agree with you in inspiration and colour scheme as that's what product they were targeting, they could've changed the colour and No1 woulda said anything but the Samsung watch has 3 buttons and it looks like every other watch the middle button last task (or whatever you call it that takes you back to your last app) and a 3rd button that can be customised it's not necessarily an action button as I have Ticwatch and that has a customizable button don't mean it's an action button that's just the term apple used. So Yes I agree with you to an extent but the shape not an apple watch they just did a Mish mash lol
Sorry, but when the name is the same and they produced earbuds that look just like AirPods, it’s an Apple Watch Ultra ripoff. I don’t mind that since I bought both the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the new earbuds. Unfortunately neither will arrive until mid-August. I’m not sure how others got theirs so early, but I ordered on the first day and got the white watch and silver buds.
I pre ordered the Galaxy Watch Ultra titanium gray with black Trail Band I actually got 2 bands cause of a pre order offer. I traded in my watch 6 classic and got 350 $ off. I pre ordered on july 13th , UPS delivered mine today too. I just got mine set up with My S24 Ultra. I think you would love the trail band better it is very comfortable.
That's weird I preorderd also and traded in my watch 5 pro also got $350, but I didn't get anband inside the box I've seen some people get 2 bands and some get 1 in the box
Yea the pre-sale is weird. First time I put it in the cart, it said Aug 8th and was just the marine band. then I re did it and it then says July 25th and came with a extra trail band.
I bought the Series 9 Apple watch last year, the 45mm GPS model, and immediately bought two bands on Amazon (one had Velcro). My motto is cheap bands (or phone cases) for expensive devices.
I'm sick of people saying Samsung looks like the apple watch. their not even close except the band. Samsung has used the word ultra for almost 15 years. do your research

To be honest I can understand him. The Airpods Pro feel so heavy and uncomfortable in my ears, but my Galaxy Buds 2 feel very comfortable and lightweight, despite them being just .3 grams lighter. Different products, but still

@@Kitsuekota strange. Ordering from Samsung UK there is no way to choose default band. It even describes it as default band. The free one we can choose.
Wish I could've got the white version, as I think it's the best of the three options. But, I wasn't able to get my order in until the white was backordered, so I went with the dark grey. Excited to receive mine soon

I don’t understand why the watch face is circular but they made it more square. I don’t like the design of the Apple Watch Ultra either but at least it’s square for a reason. I’ve gotten used to regular Apple Watches squareness because of the always on display.
So glad I changed my order to just the flip phone. That's just too big and that would have been the same watch band. When it comes to my wrist I want a smaller phone that's not a lot of weight. It looks a lot smaller in the promotions for it and Samsung's website. But it is a beautiful, yet unrealistic combo together. I've been wanting a daily wear watch and I just went with another company (not a phone brand) that's supposed to be indestructible which is more geared to my type of work. So far I'm happy with it. Just waiting for my Flip 6 to show up (which happens to be white). I'm actually from an era when digital calculator watches were a new thing. Sadly, my $100 watch doesn't have a calculator app.
Too big for my tastes as well, but looks like a solid piece of kit! Not sure why Samsung veered away from their circular design aesthetic with a square base without an accompanying squared screen / larger real estate. I think I would like the rotating bezel of other Samsung offerings.
I’m a little confused about your watch band comments on both the Apple and Samsung Watches. You had an opportunity to select your band of choice at time of purchase. Apple gives us 9 to choose from and Samsung had at least 4.
Smartwatches are ment to be worn behind the wrist (higher on the arm). This makes the back with sensors push into your arm and therefore better readings and less hight. How and the charging puck is slightly different from the previous Galaxy Watches.

The purpose of this product is in the name. It's a wristwatch. It should be a wristwatch and nothing else, because it has too small a screen to be anything other than a wristwatch. Everyone carries a smartphone anyway, which also tells the time, so this is a completely unnecessary accessory designed to squeeze more money out of your pocket. If someone really likes to wear a wristwatch and has extra money, it is much better to buy a classic wristwatch. There are quality wristwatches in all price ranges, and the more expensive ones are a good investment.
I just got mine this afternoon, but I didn't do a video. It is huge! I also must be snap in challenged, because it took me a bit. The diver band is thick and I didn't like it, but I also got a free cloth band with mine. It will seem a bit smaller when you get rid of that band. I think I will also get the adapter that allows me to use my old bands. I am already missing my rotating bezel, but I guess I will get over it.
Each to their own, but the Watch ultra isn't big from my own perspective as I own both a Garmin Epix pro gen2 and a Fenix 7x. They both have 51mm casings and are much thicker. Tldr garmin sizes drawfs this watch. But I did order one anyway because this is great for everyday uses as a specialised smartwatch. I'll wear my Garmins on extended camping or outdoor 4x4 trips. Im talking weeks 😂 Oh and before I forget, great video! The Watch ultra isnt a copy of the apple watch ultra, google Samsung Gear Sport 2017... who copied who now? 😂
I just wanna see oura vs samsung ring comparisons. Accuracy and usability. I want a samsung ring, but would want the accuracy i get in apple watches or other watch makers. No point in a smart ring to measure the everything if it actually isn’t measuring and just giving “good enough” values

I'm a woman with a small wrist coming off of a watch 5 pro and the ultra sits so much better on my wrist, my small wrist then my watch 5 pro. Feels way less awkward and bulky than my watch 5 Pro. It also looks like you're wearing it right behind your wrist joint which is why it's sitting like that. Move it a little bit further back. You're wearing it like it's a fashion watch instead of a watch that has sensors on it. Honestly the position that you're wearing this watch and the Apple Ultra watch looks like you would not get the readings that you need to get because you're not wearing either watch properly.
I regret this purchase. I could've gotten the watch 6 classic for 44 buck. Got this for 200. No reverse charging. No wireless charging. Had to order 4 more puck chargers for a watch that costs twice as much as the 6 classic, and it( the watch 6) does 95 percent the same stuff.
I got my watch today and it felt light on my wrist. I've been wearing a 44 mm Galaxy watch 5 and I had an aftermarket watch band with the built-in cover and I feel like that is heavier than the ultra watch. I got a free watch band that I haven't tried yet so I need to check that out but yeah overall I love the watch
I've watched many reviewers saying the 7 ultra isn't even heavy so idk when this guy is complaining about the weigh and size of the watch like he gives me an apple fanboy vibes lol

@weztcoazt94 I preordered on the 17th but I live close to samsung facility in mississauga which is only a few hours away from me. Although the delivery date updated saying July 22nd now it says ready to ship which the next one says picked up by carrier
Samsung needs to stick to the smart watch territory and leave the fitness heavy stuff to Garmin. I can't even remember the last time I've charged my Fenix 7x, and I wear it 24/7.
I wonder if I disable all the gimmicky health features and remove the bloatware I can get 5 days of battery life out of the Ultra like you can with the galaxy watch5 pro when I got bored with most of its gimmicky health features.
It is simply as setting your watch down on your nightstand or counter top might as well set it down on the wireless Charging magnetic dock. The battery will not be a deal breaker to over 90% of the people but to each their own
This thing is supposed to be a titanium watch 🤔, all I see is a watch made of 90% composite materials and 10% titanium at most, it looks like a bad cheap copy of a G-Shock 🤷🏽♂️ Apart from the frame around the screen, there is no titanium elsewhere on this smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, the Apple Watch Ultra are titanium smartwatches, this thing is a titanium powdered smartwatch 🤧 Putting a strawberry 🍓 on top of a cake 🥧 doesn't make it a strawberry cake. Samsung could and should have simply taken the design of the classic, made it a little thicker to increase the size of the battery 🔋 , and spared us the controversy and offered us a real Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra in Titanium. 🙏🏽 Ps: I know that the design of the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra is an update of the Galaxy Gear Sport.

@@ExposedRoot not sure why that is silly Samsung has compatability issues with older phones. Not all watches connect to them but they haven't updated their list on the website.
Well the thing is with Samsung compared to other brand like Apple is that samsung offers many options. You said you much prefer the Galaxy Watch 5 pro design, so get the regular galaxy watch 7, or even the galaxy 6/classic! Im a gshock type of guy so this highly and strongly resemble that. If you're not that type of guy to rock a gshock/casio, then you have plenty of options
Samsung was first with the watches. Their ultra is based on an old design. I will say between Apple and Samsung they are both stuck in the mud with the same display tech, neither have dropped dual display tech for longer battery 🔋. thanks again. Velcro bands all the way with no metal or plastic buckles. Get rid of the crown if it doesn't have a rotating bezel, which no ultra watch should have. Thanks
Yep just saw his video, same crap sensors. I'm still going forward with my order to replace this horrid GW6C but I'll have to continue swapping to my AWU for workouts smh
