Thank you so so much for being one of the few RU-vidrs that actually does their homework on anything other than Apple. This is the gear sport from 2017 just the updated version. No one‘s riding apples nuts, and I own an iPad and iPhone so I’m not a hater.

Means a lot my guy, I appreciate the love. Same bro, iPhone and iPad owner. Some have this sacrilegious allegiance to these brands. There are only so many ways to design a smartwatch in 2024. Samsung’s is a distinct evolution of their own ethos.

Sorry to say, but Apple is not the first company to release a premium watch with an orange band. If you check, you'll find that orange accents and watch bands are a favorite color among many luxury watch brands. Apple doesn't own the color.

Well I didn’t say “premium” watches, just said Ultra, as in their top smartwatch. Of course orange is a popular watch accent color. I’ve had orange straps on watches for many years.

Hey, thanks for the band review! Unfortunately, all the bands are sold out in my country, so I'm waiting to order one. I'm trying to decide between the gray peakform and the gray marine. The peakform looks really good, but I'm not sure if it feels as comfortable on the wrist as the marine one.

Thank you for watching! Sorry the bands are sold out. Honestly, the comfort felt almost equal between the Marine and Peak form bands. The part touching your skin is silicone on both. If you’re only choosing one and want to wear a strap with everything, I’d go Peakform.

So far I bought grey trail band, orange trail band, gray and orange peakform bands and have orange marine band paired with gray titanium watch. Best combo in my opinion is grey trail band with grey watch, looks really commando😁

@@esthetech It arrived today. And it feels amazing. The 5 Pro is allso amazing in it's own right but i like the new form factor better somehow. Also, i work as a vehicle tech and the sapphire glass on the 5 pro has NO scratches after a year. I'm impressed as always with being in the full Samsung Ecosystem.

I would say it partially depends on what color bands you want to wear. But if you’re getting just one and want the most versatile color, I would do Titanium Silver. Looks great with orange, white, and black. Titanium Grey doesn’t pair great with white straps. Titanium White works with everything but doesn’t look quite as good with a black strap. Orange straps work great with all 3.

Thanks! All my videos are either done with the latest iPhone, 4K 24fps, or the latest Galaxy S phone, 4K 30fps. This one was shot with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. And I use an external microphone from Shure. Natural lighting by the window.

Great content. I have the 7ultra, the same color. I also got a blue marine band, a black, 2 orange. Also, have blue green trail and the samsung gray trail. And a black and orange loop band. Love this watch.

My watch originally showed on Samsung's website for August 7th then August 21st and then September 25th but then yesterday it showed it was shipped out and I'll be receiving it on Wednesday!!! 🤗⌚️❤️ And you're not the only one ready for Halloween I love Halloween and I'm looking for for it too myself!!! 🎃❤️🎃❤️🎃❤️

Apparently back in 2013 Samsung launched Galaxy Gear which had Orange colored band like this. So, technically not copied from Apple, it's a breed of Samsung designed products.

Orange is for diving because it's visible. Orange will likely be a staple for both Apple and Samsung and whomever follows into the diving watch game. Apple isn't that special

That’s true. Orange has been a popular accent and strap color for watches for a long time anyway. Just meant that the two Ultra branded smartwatches are both using orange, and that’s apparently a reason some think Samsung are strictly copying Apple, without acknowledging things that Samsung did before Apple.

Someone made a good point to me... Samsung's watch isn't rated for diving (unlike the Apple Watch Ultra), but I think, if you look at what these watches are for, extreme activities... It's more safety - As you said, visibility if someone was in trouble... The orange band is easy to see. (GWU user btw)
