Thank you for another great video. I have a question about using the affirm option to pay for the fold 4 and watch 5 pro. I went thru the whole process early on the 10th. I received a confirmation email from affirm with a loan number. I have not received any confirmation emails or any correspondence from samsung at all. On the affirm app it shows the approved loan amount for samsung. It says waiting until samsung processes order. I find this really strange. I also ordered a zflip4 and paid for that outright with a credit card and I have already received a confirmation email from samsung saying order is getting ready for shipping!! Does anyone have insight on this issue when you pay with a loan through affirm. Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!
@@pianomans1 It sounds normal. I never used affirm but I am aware that some orders get processed and posted quickly while other take a while. Best way to be sure is to call samsung rep and ask them: +1 800-726-7864
Don’t be silly. I really get tired of people saying this. Millions of people like to be a king imprisoned in their castle? Quit arrogant to think that. My bank supports Apple Pay but no google pay. My airline supports apple wallet but on my fold 3? I can use my iPhone for a day out of my castle but my fold keeps preventing me flying like a bird without a battery pack. And so did the S 22 ultra. I can choose so many more accessoires for my iPhone but not so many for my fold or notes before that. The apps on iOS are better, the experience is more consistent, more fluid, system updates are immediately available. Even the implementation of widgets and the Lock Screen (iOS 16) is better. 95% of people don’t need multitasking on their phones. Maybe a iPhone is not for nerds but they are really really good phones. But a little too expensive 😂😂
I purchased the Z fold off of your recommendation and got the huge discount traded in. My old Samsng ultra, and I absolutely love the Z fold4 it is amazing and the battery life is much better. Thanks for recommending it.
You didn't get a huge discount, you sold your old phone for cheap back to them and they will sell it for more than you got in discount you smooth brain.
It beat the s22 ultra earlier today the video is on youtube but we need to see more test because everyone usage is different and phones run different when using the phone throughout the day instead of a test running a non-stop test.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but the multi-tasking bar function is the same as Fold 3, just the bar is on the bottom instead of the side, right? I'm using these features on my Fold 3 already

That would be sick if you could create stacks when using the multitasking feature. Say one window can hold several apps, this way you swipe to easily switchshoukd you need to get into ultra multi task mode 🤣
If it's anything like the Fold 3 then it's crap. My fold 3 was only 2 months out of warranty and now when I open there is no sound, Sound is OK while opening but at 90 degrees it stops. This is an ongoing issue with this model and Samsung want €500 to repair it after I spent €1,900 when purchasing. My advice is stay away from these folds.
Im on a fucking rampage on ios for not having multiview app on iphone in 2023 is absurd, the ipad has an amazing multitask, the iphone feels like something from 2010 god damn my s4 had multiwindows, my iphone doesnt
I have the fold 3 and you can do everything that you just demonstrated on it already. Not enough of an upgrade in my opinion to give up what I already have. The only difference really is a sleeker form factor and a slightly better camera.
The battery just beat out the s22ultra on RU-vid today which is crazy 🤯 But I've been hearing it's the most smoothest and efficient oneui , the new oled display uses less power and of course the benefits of the new sd8 plus gen 1 so the phone it turning out pretty good plus that taskbar is great even though the fold 3 will get it eventually.
@@REXae86 if you don't already have a 3 get the 4. Battery on the 3 was not up to my personal taste and the camera was a step down from the S phone of that year.
@@REXae86 the fold 3 has really been discounted since it's initial release so in my opinion I would say get the fold 3. If money isn't a concern always go with the latest and greatest. Since I already own the fold 3 I'm not upgrading.
Order mine this morning. I am leaving thr Ultra 21 for the fold 4. This will be my first time trying something different other than a note/S series. I want to try something different for a change. So, if I don't like it, I can always jump back to the Ultra 23 when it comes out. Let's see how it goes?
My thoughts exactly five six months the s23 ultra will come out I've never had the folding phone because the last three models the camera and the width of the phone turned me off my thought process is exactly like yours I pre-ordered the phone and the watch if I don't like it I'll trade it in for the s23 ultra it's only 6 months!!!
Same, I'm getting mine after owning a s10+ for a while which I still love, so I'm trading in a spare s5 for $1000 off at At&t, and if anything goes wrong I still have mine s10+ that works perfectly
I don't believe you will go back from a note user for a decade I will not go back in my opinion this is the evolution of Note even though s pen not in the device
I was iPhone from the 3 until the 11. Then switched to the fold 2 at launch. I could never go back to iPhone or a regular phone in general. I ordered the fold 4 on Thursday. You won't regret it.
You need to also explain if they have removed the standard folding phone/tablet side functionality and taskbar or will they work simultaneously with the new one?
Hey Saki, I currently own the S21 ultra. I usually own every single new Note each year but skipped the S22 Ultra for some reason. I'm very interested in either getting the new Note 23 ultra or possibly Fold 4. I do use my cameras a lot and consume tons of media via RU-vid, tiktok, IG and Netflix ect. What would you recommend, would I be sacrificing the Note cameras or is there really not a big difference. I've been hearing the battery in the Fold 4 is outlasting the 22 ultra. My main concern is the inner display durability
In multiview, How do windows that use a keyboard act? I don't like using email or text messaging in multi Windows on my s22 because when the keyboard is called it takes up so much real estate that I can't even see what I'm typing sometimes.
im actually going from z fold 3 to z flip 4 and maybe to s23 ultra when it come out i love the fold amazing phone but honestly 90% of the time im using the small screen and the small screen is too small for my big fingers my gf has z flip 3 and typing is alot easier i know the fold 4 small screen is a little bigger but still not big enough so in the future whem they make the small screen bigger ill be goinb bak to fold
One thing that really annoys me about multi tasking here and really puts me off is the use of the keyboard and how it spans 2 open apps. As an example if I'm watching You Tube on the right side of the screen but have email open on the left, if I want to type an email the keyboard spans both apps causing You Tube to squash up making the video almost unwatchable. If this could be corrected that would be great, I only want the keyboard under the app I'm using. So will stick with my Duo 2 as that's how you do multi tasking correctly!
there's a setting in g-board or samsung keyboard that makes it a floating keyboard that you can resize also. since it's a floating keyboard, you can move it around
@@a552bcx I don't want to mess around resizing and moving the keyboard, it should just automatically span the app I'm interacting with by default, just as it does on the Duo and Duo 2. I can't go back to any other device now I'm experienced the seamlessness of how Duo multitasks.
@@richardgorton5630 g-board and samsung keyboard has "snap to current app." feature in setting. floating keyboard is the best because you can see all the typing field and jump to any typing field quickly by moving the floating aside
hey i have question maybe you can make a video out of it. i dont normally use ringtones i like having my phones on vibrate. how strong is the vibration with Z fold 4 compare to previous phones i.e (S10+ and on? lol) i pre ordered my z fold 4 last week but wish there was more info about this

I want to see how Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram works on this phone in both single window and multitask with the 3 windows. Twitter is my main app, so it would be great to see how "productive" I could be with this phone.

Ive been trying since yesterday to pre order the fold 4 with a watch 5 pro and earbuds pro but when I get to the end a try to finalize the payment with Samsung credit it does not go through. Chatted with several customer service agents and had them make custom cart links and same issue. Anyone else experiencing this by chance?
Are you doing it through the app? If you are try the website instead, I had the same issue when I was trying to order it on the app, did the website instead and it went right through
@@malenirequena3524 I tried the app and the website since yesterday and both are not going through for me using the Samsung financing. I may have to end up paying full price upfront instead of utilizing their financing option. I'm not trading any device in unfortunately they don't accept the duo 2 for a trade in device.
Hi Saki, Can we use s pen on the outside screen of Galaxy Fold 4 or just inside only like Fold 3? I switched from Fold 3 to S22 Ultra and now it is the most difficult decision to make whether I should upgrade to Fold 4 from S22 Ultra. Any advise? Thanks
@@sakitech In my opinion, Samsung's stupidest design decision. And then they do the same thing with the next Gen. That would have been the one thing that would have got me to upgrade from my 3. Scratch that idea.

@@a552bcx So on an $1800 phone, it is acceptable to cut corners? I can't tell you how many times on my 3 I have flipped it shut and then needed to do one more thing and not paying attention, tried to write on the outside screen. It is pretty much impossible for me to leave anything alone. I have since lost it, but I had the regular S pen modded so that the other end was one of the rubber tipped stylus that WILL work on it. I don't recommend it though. It worked well but was a major pain to get right. And yes, it did still fit into the case.
@@naptown808 Agreed, it's a valid question. Given that they didn't improve the battery this time around, whatever you can do to conserve your battery is a good thing. For me, I just bought a more compact battery bank that does fast charging via USB cord as well as via wireless charging. I'm planning on carrying it with me should the battery prove to not last all day. I hope I won't need it, but better safe than sorry!
I got my Fold 4 two days ago and I haven't been able to put it down since. I've owned almost every phone/tablet since the early 90's and this one really blows my mind.
