These real world tests keep getting better! I love the balance between travel vlog, history lesson and tech review. You strike it brilliantly! Keep it up
I've been watching your Real world test for 2-3 years now, love the format! Practically toured NYC and the state sitting in my home in India XD. Just a suggestion, for the camera comparisons, it'd be a little bit better if you could just include 1080p footage too (since I've noticed many average consumers use that as default and not bother to change the quality of the video). Otherwise, the format's just perfect.
Your reviews hit different from other reviewers. You don't just talk about the phone, you do vlogs, and talk about things that happen throughout your vlog which I also like since it's not just about the phone, its a vlog as well which makes it interesting since most reviewers focus on just the phone which I see no issue with but sometimes, doing things different attracts more people.
He's by far one of my favorite phone reviewer. Also you'd get to learn about history as well. I'm into technology, history so his review style is perfect for me.
How you don’t have a million subs by now is beyond me.. if I could sub more than once I would. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your content. It’s definitely noticed. It keeps me super engaged. You’re one of the best! Never stop the “coffee check” 👊 now you just need shirts with that one them
Thank you for your unbaised honest reviews. This will help as I'm coming from a S20 Utlra to the Z Fold 4. I love your shooting format, introducing new areas, coffee shops and interesting locations. It makes me want to visit and explore New York State and the sourrounding states/areas.
Great content as always. I appreciate your insightful reviews set in the middle of fun field trips. Also nice to see your mom and hear your family at the end 😊 Keep it up bro.
Geez he not only teaches us about phones but also about art trends and history of NYC districts (in other videos). What a nice gent ! Folds are tempting for me, both the big fold and the flip fold. I just don't need a phone this advanced for daily usage. Having one like this would be pure gadgetry and unjustified money spending.
Really enjoyed this review (also appreciated the transition from talking about the details of the painting to the camera quality)! I know Samsung notoriously puts their flagships on sale soon after release but still shocked the price didn’t go down. Overall, thank you for the great review!
As a fellow content creator, I absolutely LOVED your outtakes at the end and can totally relate. 😂 So much so that I had to leave this comment. Thank you for a great review. I'm looking forward to my Fold 4 (and Watch 5) arriving this week!
Had mine for a month, I've used iPhone and android phones since they came out, and to be frank, I was getting very bored. This has changed everything, phones are interesting again. Come apple drop a foldable!
This is one video I would definitely send to someone who has never seen any tech review to get them hooked to this amazing format. Making it my mission to get views on this video - undoubtedly your best till date! Also, since I'm from a creative field myself the art part blew my mind. The contrast you did between those two/three artists AND that building/cottage with the landscape and the trees. Man! Please keep these coming.
Had to upgrade from Fold 3 to Fold 4. My two major complaints, camera and battery, seem to have been addressed making the Fold a device i can finally carry by itself instead of carrying a companion phone for better photos or to mitigate the pretty bad battery of the Fold 3
Congratulations on a very informative and interesting review. I have been watching reviews for the Fold 4 as I pre-ordered, and I was thoroughly entertained with your presentation. Please make more of this format. Great job! 👍
I loved the format of this review! Also I think its good to have noted how aggressive the discounts are during the preorder period this time around. It really seems like Samsung wants to really get a higher volume of sales this time around. Getting a $1000 off for a trade in and $200 credit for accessories is pretty crazy. It made me give the Fold 4 a try.
Loved the travelogue format. You make me learn so much about the area I live in. Also the outtakes are hilarious, especially the photo posing instructions!! Classic! Hi Mom! Oh and the tech piece is great too.
Great video, the camera samples are very informative (genuinely surprised how much the Fold 4 shows up the iPhone 13 Pro in night shots) and I actually want to visit Hudson River Valley now, which is not an outcome I was expecting from this video.
Normally people don't comment on the sponsors of the video (awesome video as usual!!) But I need that AC unit in my life haha - kind of amazing this wasn't a thing sooner.
I LOVED the format. I have watched every FOLD 4 vid since the reveal and I gotta say, I don’t need to hear the MP count or nits anymore… Learning about yours moms diet and the revolutionary war was…… revolutionary! (see what I did there?) For real though, I really liked it and you did a great job. Thanks! 👉👌
We got some history and a review of the fold 4. Outstanding job on the video! This makes me more confident in my purchase seeing then photos and video recordings.
The video on Android seems to be always over sharpened and it also tends to skip frames. Would using pro video and adjusting both sharpening and the shutter manually help solve this?
By combining the travel-history-geography type vlog with your tech review you are creating a whole new genre of reviews and I for one love it. It leaves me looking forward to the next one. Your Real World Test series just keeps getting better, this latest Fold-4 review included. Samsung keeps innovating and it shows. The Fold is super cool but my likings tend to favor the updated Flip-4. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that new A/C unit design, also quite innovative! And to be able to adjust the temp., on/off, etc. from your phone...yeah, very nice!
Your way of reviewing the phone is marvelous, I have been longing for this kind of review and all I have been bombarded with are cliché paid reviews. I have been confused for 2 months between FOLD 4, Pixel 7 Pro and S22 Ultra as my main purpose is running 2 businesses that require camera and wide screen to analyze charts and data (hopefully that fits my budget). Your video has helped to chuck out FOLD 4. The picture comparison between video is amazing. Please keep on making these kind of review video gems.
@16:08 Hahaha Mom almost unleashed a smackdown on my boy on camera about that my sister's not excited comment... but then he cleaned it up after that jump cut...sorta. Bravo Mom for restraining the backhand. But when between cuts we know somebody got a spanking... 🤣. You need to introduce Mom more often. How about a segment on what she thinks about these technologies. My parents struggle with this stuff. Also great history and storyline... loved it.
Samsung...if you're reading this...here's a free idea: that modular case is a great idea. However...how about making the S-Pen flat like a carpenter pencil or the Microsoft Stylus...give the S-Pen a hinge to bend 90 degrees at the middle of the shaft. Then you can stick it into the case and it will hold the S-Pen...but the S-Pen bends into a stand. Perfect solution if you can't or won't build an S-Pen silo into the phone itself.
Good job. Other RU-vidrs should take note. You should work for the movie industry. Im going to subscribe mainly to see what you do with your ideas. Thank you for being different (yourself ). :)
Thx for sharing this with us. Keep going like this. In Fact looking at the Landscape and the Art was very interesting so the Hardware makes a step behind.. Greetings from Germany and stay safe..👍🏻
Superb vlog as always! Can't help but feel this is about as good/innovative as the fold series is going to get. I think that when there's a genuinely huge innovation such as expandable or sliding screen then it'll be a completely different line of devices
This country was already inhabited by the native Americans before England moved here just saying... great video. As far as the pen situation goes as someone who ownes the Fold 3 with the pen i have a case with pen holder. Most people who own the phone do the same. Ive never lost the pen. Its unrealistic the fact that someone would buy this phone with the pen and not a pen holder
I enjoyed this as a whole, interesting that im from the UK - the northwest in particular were the industrial revolution took a hold of the countryside and towns/cities massively and we still have all the old mills with chimneys etc standing!
When you’re doing the quad box camera shots, can you move the text up higher? Most of us watch in full screen. We have to pinch in to see what camera is what since the text is so low.
Hope this comes across properly your mother is very lovely and I at first thought she was your sister. Hope she’s doing well hope to see more videos from you
🌲🌳 Thanks for sharing the adventure, and of course the review on this phone. Probably not my type of phone but top noch video, no one does anything like this unique experience. cheers!
I think the coffee mug was a little on the small side! 🤣 Great locations David, so beautiful, both the landscape and the buildings. Hilarious outtake... OK smile... Got it... One more? NO! Please?! 😂 Oh, great RWT on the Fold 4 BTW.
Absolutely amazing video. Richard Attenborough would have been proud!!!! I really appreciate your work, although I am not interested in Samsung Phones. By the way, you should do something about earbuds again. How about Backbay Brand, from Boston? They are awesome. Regards and keep doing your fine job.
Full of admiration for your new niche David - you are approaching perfection my friend! My definition of "infotainment" is being adjusted to include you 😊 The best illustration of the actual differences between 3 & 4 that I've seen so far, and what a lovely Mum you have! Was going to say that you managed to find loads of wonderfully quiet places to sit and record, until the end 😉 Regardless, as always, more please.
Like everyone else, I enjoy the traveling aspect to your videos. I think it adds more depth to the review and not just focusing on the phone or other technology itself. Also, the history lessons are dope, too. Makes me wanna visit NY especially! Also, I don't know if you have them or not, but if you don't. You should really make " coffee, check! " As a shirt, I'd buy one in a heartbeat for real brother!
I love this !!! I am British and so loved the history that this video dived into. The imagery captured on the Z Fold 4 was so amazing, I now want to visit one day. I am (probably!) getting the Z Fold 4, as I like the screens and size of the main screen. I actually prefer the photos taken on the Z fold 3 compared to the 4. However, I think the 4 has a brighter screen capability and so that wins overall for me.
