today in this video we would replace a screen for #Samsung #J4Plus.J4 plus #replacementScreen comes with only one flex and to replace this screen , no need to get access intho the main board. just pull up the broken screen from the top and replace it. Lets see in the video.

I have replaced my J4 Plus screen but the phone displays nothing after doing a soft restart (Volume Down + Power Button). The damaged screen partially works, so I know the phone itself is okay. Can you suggest what might be wrong and what I can do get the phone to recognise the replacement screen? I read on some forum that some Android update levels are not compatible with some revisions of the J4 Plus screens. Mine is Rev 0.1, whereas my original screen is Rev 0.6?

Please get the genuine screen otherwise it may give you lots of issues.

@@thepcphone Yes, I think you're right. I think a number of sellers are probably offloading non-working versions of the "J6_Prime" screen. The screens may even be early versions of the hardware that cannot work with the release versions of the J4 Plus phone. I have looked at the ribbon cable and seen differences in various revisions that do not match the original Rev 0.6 version.
