Samsung Microwave Handle Repair 

I've had bad luck with epoxy repairs so I skipped the gluing. Once I removed the broken piece (the little chimney that receives the screw, the bit that Dan needed the needle-nose to grab) I used a screw that was about 1/4 inch longer than the original and screwed it all the way through (into the part still in the handle, the plate that the chimney was once a part of). Snug as a bug in under 5 minutes. BUT I appreciated this video because it gave me the courage to start snapping off that inner cover! Sometimes you can't tell if something snaps into place or is screwed into place until you hear the CRACK! ;^)

I bought another handle on EBay for $8.00. My handle was totally FUBAR. Thanks awesome job.

Thanks for the video. I just wanted to let people know that this is the 2nd time I've had to repair my handle and we all should refrain from cooking on the front right burner of our stove if we have this Samsung over the stove microwave. Usually the steam or heat from below starts to cook the plastic piece on the handle which makes it brittle and or melt and eventually the handle breaks off. It's happened to me 2 times already.

Goddamn Samsung could have made this a lot easier ! They could have just let the screws be accessible. I’ve got a slightly different model and the top screw is exposed. But still need to remove the entire plastic panel. 🤬
