How to fix a Samsung phone that doesn't turn off the screen, has notifications "USB connected" and "USB disconnected" without having anything connected to the phone.

Great video and a good voice over, better than some videos with robot voice👍👏 BUT...COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. ESPECIALLY for phones with an IP rating. Opening at home will kill the IP rating as special adhesive is used in manufacturing process. You can easily access the charging port and clean without pulling phone apart.

I just used a knife blade to gently scrape in the charging port and then scrubbed it with 91% isopropyl alcohol (regular alcohol from Walmart) on a toothbrush. Solved the problem. I'll edit this if the problem returns.

Btw it is possible to do without opening mobile ... First force shutdown by holding volume up and down and power button Then clean charging port.... If I'm wrong or something i mistakes then then tell Me...

This is due to damage to the charging flex of your phone. Repairing it can fix this error.

Yeah, phone samsung a10s. Got problem with flex cable from charging port to main board. It cannot lock so it got loose connector causing disconnected/connected problem. Changed that might fix it but i just put stress on top to temporary fix the problems. so far no problem while waiting the replacement flex cable. I just wasted my money buying the charging port board. What i need the flex cable. I should had open it first before ordering. Damn.

13 days later. It comes back intermittently. I just carry a safety pin in my pocket and scrap it some, tell the notification to stop for 2 hours and restart my phone. Also, it seems when I charge my phone back up, it returns, but even that is hit and miss now. I just restart my phone so the screen stays locked, even if it happens and runs the batter down until I can tinker with it. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Just work arounds I've discovered. I'm on a three day run, even with charging, where it hasn't come back.

Replace the charging board. If you are afraid to disassembly the phone, take it to a repair shop.

You can buy the replacement board and replace it. The replacement is not expensive. Check the description of the video, the link for replacement is the description of the video.

That won't fix the problem, is like when you ignore the problem, but the problem is there. It will get worse if you don't clean the corrosion / oxidation.
