People say the bass is weak but I think this soundbar is very well balanced. That bass isn't weak once you start bringing the volume up, this soundbar goes to 100 for volume, I'm too scared to even go to 40.
I completely agree with you! I just received mine yesterday and the bass is well balanced at the default settings. Most people don't know that the subwoofer volume can be increased, the bass is pretty awesome when this is configured. I don't understand how people are quick to judge this soundbar without checking out the settings.
I've been searching for an upgrade sound bar for over 6 months within my affordability. Working in a furniture store never made it easy for me as I get to test out a lot of soundbars. I've had the privilege to test different brands out & premium ones aswell. I've owned JBL for 2 years, then moved to Klipch as my first attempt of upgrade, I then had sound quality & functionality concerns, then I returned it for a different brand. To cut the story short, my second attempt of upgrade was to this sound bar & I've never been happier with regards to the sound quality, seamless connectivity, features & EQ toggles. This sound bar can easily be adjusted to preferred sound output. *Quick sidenote, make sure to download it's firmware update.
I have a 5.2.4 Atmos setup in the basement with in ceiling speakers, but bought this for upstairs. Plugged it in in the basement to test it and was blown away just how much this small sound bar fills the room. Atmos on this made me think it was coming from my ceiling speakers. Really happy for the the $450 price tag. Don't think you'll find a better soundbar for the price (well here in Canada anyway)
Cool. Is it still working well? I have a Q700B on order. Not sure if I should buy the extended 2, 3 or 4 year warranty at PC Richard. Do you recommend I get the warranty?
just subscribed in 2022. You have great material. Should have far more subscribers. Keep up the good work. I'm off to buy this today to match my Q60A 75" samsung!
@@seriousl3333 Love my Q70A 75" TV. Had a 55" LG, but updated. I have no issues with it. Love the colour output, size, but you definitely MUST have an exterior sound as I found it lacking due to the smaller speakers. The Q600A soundbar and subwoofer play beautifully. Totally recommend though would suggest you buy a soundbar or alternative system to go with it.
Sorry, you're right, I took the measurements of the box rather than the soundbar 🤦♀️ The dimensions should be 98 x 5.8 x 10.5 cm (WxHxD) 😂 Good catch though 👍
I'm watching this review after owning it for a couple of days. I'm confused by the comment that all suggest increasing the bass level for better performance. I had to put mine to -2 while watching the intro to "Into the spiderverse" or it's just to much rumbling. (I came here to see if the review clarified how to adjust the treble, as I am unable to figure out how. It always just adjusts the bass, even when selecting treble on the remote first.)
Yes, the Q Symphony feature is exclusive to with Samsung TVs and I think only certain Samsung models support it too. But the soundbar itself should work as normal with any TV that has the same inputs. Hope this helps 👍
Can someone help me with the settings of the TV to fully utilize the sound from Q600A. I understand that the sound set to adaptive mode. What other settings please?
If you want to use the soundbar to play with your series x i don't recomend this soundbar, the q600a doesn't have eARC which means you don't will receive the full sound experience the dolby atmos of your series x can do. If i was you i would buy the q800a which has eARC
How does this Q600A sound compares to S61A (you reviewed) ? Just from the perspective of sound purist. Don't care about subwoofer, Atmos/DTS X. Sound separation, detailing, soundstage and overall clarity is what I am looking for. For online streaming DD 5.1 is enough for me.
Hi! Not necessarily, the only feature you would really miss is the Q-Symphony feature that uses both TV and sound bar together rather than choosing one input over the other.
Hi! This is the HDMI that came with the Xbox Series X but it's a high speed 2.1 HDMI that you can probably get a similar version of from any tech store 👍
I have this Q600A unit. This is a 3.1.2 channel soundbar. I can't get the Qsymphony tv+soundbar hdmi option to work, even though the option is selected and All settings are on. I've tried everything from unplugging to reseting. I was told to setup multi channel but that only works through Bluetooth and not through eARC HDMI or ARC. So what's the point?? A Samsung tech said you must have at least a 5.1 channel for Qsymphony to work. So why is this 3.1.2 unit advertised as Qsymphony if it doesn't work??
They are totally worth it depending on what TV you have. Some TVs just have poor in-built speakers that you'd want to boost just to get a decent sound quality out of 😊
Recently I've owner Samsung NQ90A pairing with Q600A sound bar the scene is the television has eARC support where the sound bar has only ARC support. I need little clarification in this can this sound bar be paired up with wireless surround speaker (compatible?) if it's compatible could you leave the model of those? or for the best result should I need to go with Q800A sound bar which has eARC. Do they really make any difference? Please let me know.
Use the SWA-9100S rear speakers. I bought the soundbar and speakers yesterday and they pair nicely. Do some tweaks hear and there and its beautiful. If you can use the q-symphony feature I recommend it, it makes a difference, and it fills the room.
@@Jose-br9lq Yup Q600A is amazing but without the filler something is missing and you have filled in it. Thanks a ton. SWA-9100S is the one to be pair up with the Q600A could you let me know the Indian best pricing and availability status?
those centimeters don't sound right. the height is almost half of the length (width) of the bar, and depth is about a quarter of the of the length (width)
Yes, I'm sorry for this, someone has already pointed this out to me. I took the measurements of the box rather than the soundbar 🤦♀️ The dimensions should be 98 x 5.8 x 10.5 cm (WxHxD) 😂
I got one of these with my 2021 neo qled but I've not been impressed. Most of the time I can't even tell if the sub is even working! I was replacing with Orbital soundbar but I may go make as this doesn't come close. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi! I'm so sorry this soundbar isn't working great for you! The only thing I can think of for the sub woofer is try holding the link button on the back and see if it's lost connection. Other than that, you can try turning up the bass in the soundbar settings to make sure it's working and rule out any faults. On top of this, maybe it's worth updating the soundbar through the SmartThings app to help fix any bugs in the system. I hope you find a solution!
@@BoxCoUk thanks for the response, I didn't expect a reply. It does seem to work as I've put my ear to it. After work I'm going to try a Dolby Atmos RU-vid video to see how it sounds then plug my old one in to compare. I do have the rear speaker kit to but I haven't plugged it in yet. Thanks again
Excellent. Talking about the sound compatibility Dolby Atmos and DTS X yet the example on TV shows a movie with Dolby Vision. The most popular yet not supported by the soundbar.
That example was just showing where you can see Dolby Atmos compatibility on Disney Plus. The streaming app does have Atmos compatible movies on there, I just didn't choose one 👍
Maybe a dumb question, but Samsung claims that this soundbar supports 4K HDR10 pass-through such as from a 4K Disc player, PS5, Series X, etc., but how can that be the case if only one of the HDMI ports supports eARC?
Did anyone notice the completely wrong dimensions?? 1:10. To bad there isn't a single negative word about this set, seems suspicious since nothing is perfect.
Hi! Yes, I've been told many many times that the dimensions are wrong thanks. I don't usually include anything bad in the review if I don't find it, I do often only use these products for a few hours to a day at most so there may be long term problems that arise. These reviews are mostly first impressions 👍
IT is shit... I have had two now on Warranty and the subwoofer just pops and makes so much noise, you just unplug it... so if you want surround sound without Bass... get one, I have done firmware upgrades, moved away from wifi.. nothing works... it is shit.
