EXACTLY what im thinking. Literally the same as the normal S Pen, the only difference is it's slightly taller (~3cm) and it has smartthings capabilities, though maybe the default pen is on smartthings find too, i probably just couldnt find it also a "z fold" mode which is pretty unnecessary if ur only gonna be using it on a tablet
It's a shame that Microsoft and Samsung don't collaborate to make a super note taking app. Samsung notes and OneNote are both great in certain aspects but I wish I could have the best of both worlds. Please make that Samsung Notes video though.
Thank you! Now I know that the S-Pen Pro doesn't offer any features over the S-Pen that I want, and that I'd be perfectly fine with my S23 Ultra's S-Pen.
I'm sorry but the regular S Pen does pretty much everything in this video. It's not unique to the Pro. Apart from the SmartThings and DexPro bits i'm not sure what the advantage is
Use case for the lap time: I'm a Physician, I work on an ER. During an RCP we have to time the infusion of epinefrine. I can leave the phone on somewhere where I can see the screen, keep the pen in my pocket, and go about doing stuff the patient needs, such as perform a chest compression cycle, intubation, and use the pen to lap the times the drugs were administered. Samsung is awesome
lol I can do all that stuff with my Standard S Pen that came with the phone. Except I'm not sure if it would work on multiple devices because I only have the phone. I never really use any of the functions other than to use the touch screen to draw and sometimes when I'm listening to music I use it to change tracks when I'm away from the phone. Its really really handy using it as a remote.
I'm using the standard one, on the S8 ultra and I think I'm not switching it for the pro version it doesn't seem to be worth it, the battery life is longer true and that function "track device" is cool but beside that I really don't see at drawing any difference, some say the Pro version it's actually not that comfortable in hand maybe I might test it in the future but for now where I live it's like 100 euros for this Pro version and it's definitely not worthy at the time.
hard to Imagine all the research going into material science and the poor S-Pen has been cast aside? dang? This brings me to realization of how adaptive the S-Pen really could be and how far Samsung could be ahead in a paperless reality, if that is a thing.. I think the jury's still out.. Anyway, how many units did Samsung Move say only considering the s22U and the Latest tab series (oh and not to mention a phone that supported an S Pen without an S Pen Bay within the last four years the operating system is said to be supported) alone having both of which and don't need the product that this actual video is about lol, worth noting, I thought.. Ultimately my long-winded point is I should be able to find a f**** S-Pen tip, by Samsung, overpriced, as they would be, at every Best Buy & Walmart in the country imo, if they do in fact want the coveted & endearing brand loyalty, say a company like apple might aquire.... idk... food for thought... I guess really, over time, what do we come to expect from a company with a track record like this, become complacent, I think about design, jury still out there too!!
Samsung should release a version of Z FOLD with S Pen built-in and make the cover screen supports the S Pen. Edit: you can set "refresh" air action for Samsung Internet Browser.
My only reason for wanting this pen is to use it on my Tab S8+ and Z Fold4, other than that the features aren't really worth it. But I hate having to switch pens so it's def worth it if you have both devices
I have a fold 5 with a case with the s pen fold, and it's ok, the only reason to buy a pro pen is if you need one of the above things described in the video.. or if you have big hands :)
@WhatGear I use it on both my S22 Ultra & Tab s8! I dont thing it can do air gestures or any of the bluetooth functionality on the S22 Ultra. I wish it brought the S pen settings I set up on the Tab S8 onto the phone or copy from one and past to the other. It seems the only reason to get the pro pen is to have gestures on multiple devices, but if I want gestures on my S22 Ultra, I can just use the S22's pen.
Bruv, why would you do that? I feel like you used deceptive name / description of this video? You peppered it with ads every 5 seconds as if you were facing eviction and yet in your video you didn't mention one function of s-pen pro that differentiates it from the regular s-pen that came with note 20 ultra - basically you just described functionality of an s-pen that was released 3 years ago... Now I know why you don't show your mug in the video... Do better next time... And maybe chill a bit with selling out every 2 sentences...
Hey, i have a question, i have a Tab 7 fe and i dont like the Front part of the regular pen. The tip is a little bit "fluffy" ( i dont know how i should discribe it).The Apple pencil has a hard tip and would love to know if the s pen pro has an harder tip?
How do you get oem nibs? The support is non existant if you've had it longer than a year. All the 3rd party manufacturers are far less sensitive than the original. Any suggestions?
2nd. I'm debating whether to get the pro edition s pen. I have the fold edition s pen 🤔 I upgraded to the fold 4 from the note 20 ultra and to be honest I hardly used the air gestures with the note 20 but with the bigger screen it might be worth it. Arghhh I don't know lol I did like using it for taking pictures when far away from the phone.
I'm pretty sure #6 is wrong. The s pen doesn't have GPS, you can't track it. It's not an air tag. The phone just remembers the place it was when it was last connected to the pen.
@@Gl0ckb1te My Z Fold 4 found my S Pen Pro a few miles away at the high school where I lost it at a gig and showed the location on a map. So it might also have GPS built in. I was surprised at the distance from where it was detected as "nearby."
If you don't know this Samsung made an s pen that was a built-in Bluetooth that was way better than the s pen pro that you have you should check it out but it's kind of hard to find now I own one myself way better way better
@@bradcruise6291 I don't mean that as pen I mean the one that came from Korea it's a little bit thicker than your normal s pen but it will work on any s pen devices has a built-in Bluetooth so you can receive phone calls with your Pen
is the S pen pro the same size as a galaxy tab S pen? because i have a note 9, note 20 ultra, S24 Ultra, and tab S8+. so if so you can already do all the s pen pro features with a regular s pen or the larger tablet s pen, but the s9 s pen is 44$ and the tab s8 s pen is 17$ brand new on amazon then why would anybody who already has an spen spend 100 bucks on the pro?. theyre still bluetooth, still let you do the camera remote and stop watch remote and air actions and all that, but at a tenth the price.. What is the incentive to buy a s pen pro if you already have a regular s pen and a tablet s pen? what functionality exists on the s pen pro that does NOT exist on the regular s pens?
The location feature is horrible. I've had it in my pocket and it said it was not close. I've had mine for 2 years and I like it a lot. Have you ever heard of Tasker? Someone built a script that allows you to take the air actions even further. You can make than do even More And he's added more gestures.
I was seriously considering getting the pro pen. I have two of the basic ones and after watching this I have to say I'm now convinced on buying the pro also. Cheers brother.
it's just sammy's apple pencil attempt to get more juice out of their customers. No reason for it whatsoever as the regular s pen can do it all (if they let it)
