I expected the iphone to be the clear winner here to be honest, despite being an android user through and through, traditionally I've long considered the iphone to generally have the better camera than high end android phones. Gotta say though, which camera I preferred (from your comparisons) varied a lot. They're both clearly very good camera systems and are each stronger (only slightly) in different situations!
@@jackman4004 You like what you like, I like what I like. Both camera systems are so good it's splitting hairs at best. Nobody is objectively right and I don't feel like having ideological based preferences for something as benign and irrelevant as a phone camera is worth my energy 😂
You should do a video of using the stock camera app from the S24 ultra and then point out the differences while also using the modified Google camera "GCam" port that works for the S24 ultra. Haven't seen any RU-vidrs doing this.
The iPhone seems more consistent but both have pros and cons and neither dominate the other. As for preference that is subjective, but at the end of the day if you are Android or iPhone then the cameras will not persuade you to jump ship either way.
I know a lot of die hard Samsung fans who switched to Iphone/Pixel due to shutter lag on Samsung devices and blurry pictures of kids, pets, anything with even slight movement.
Tanya´s song made me comment to your great video :D I hate how people do the camera comparison the first day phones come out. Makes no sense to me as alternations made to camera in months after release are often making the camera 10 of % different (not always better, but updates mostly fix stuff like HDR, stab, colors..)
I thing s24 ultra handles skin tone so much better. theres layers in the skin colour, the red of freckles just get hidden in iPhone and it kind of whitewashes/blends it all together
Dude, your comparisons are really good and I want you to continue like this and what I want you to do is to compare these phones in video and photo in social media applications such as whatsapp or instagram snapchat samsung has a bad reputation in such applications and I wonder if this title still continues.
Now you mentioned it I went back and saw the recorded video on my phone, yes there is a stutter for sure. I also saw the stuttering is visible in a couple of other videos I took that day, it's a bit weird because I never had such a problem before.
@@nmeister67 seems to be some ai issue in the camera not gemini and apple ai but yeah galaxy ai in the camera app and algorithm in the iphone camera app
No matter the iteration, every single time Samsung phones take photos you wanna post right away. I never touch up. Who the hell is looking at al the detail no one cares. It's simple. Do I look good or not?
Nice comparison. I'm interested in the video side and yes, iphone is the clear winner. I have an S23 ultra and probably this will be the last samsung I'll ever own: despite so many updates the video side is just cr*p. Stuttering, strange violet and pink shades , not to mention that the pro mode is just overly dissapointing. I'll be looking towards Vivo and other brands that will offer a good bang for the buck. Thanks for the fab video 🙌😁
My 15 pro max camera is blurry. I'm constantly getting very grainy photos even with the slightest bit of Zoom after the photo has been taken. Is ios 18 resolved this issue, or should i change the device? Please advise
Samsung s23 and s24 exynos With you experience which is worth to buy? (My whole point is getting a phone for next 5,6 years with no lagging issues and any heating issues ) And also if it is worth SD gen 2 over EXYNOS 2400 beacuse i couldn't find any SD version of S24 in my country. Although im plannig to buy one in next week so i literally suck between two of these. And i really need your help.
me too, we just went to concert me and my friend I have to admit the vibrancy of the colors in the Samsung were amazing however iPhone was more stable for zooming in and out somehow..
Not that there aren't many other camera problems present, but shutter lag/motion blur alone make cameras on S24U (or any previous Samsung I used, and I've used them for 7 years straight) worthless, at least that's how I see it. I appreciate high megapixels, xyz zoom range, AI thingies, but blurry unusable pictures of moving subjects (kids, pets, people...) should be big NO in 2024. I had some great pictures of bird (30x zoom, you could see details in birds eye) but not one decent shot of my dog. Competition solved it years ago, no reason for Samsung to keep ignoring it. For point and shoot photography/videography (and I guess that's the whole point of having camera on your phone/in your pocket), Samsung is years behind competition. I prefer Iphones reliability, you kinda know what you'll end up with. Totally opposite with Samsung, take 3 shots of same thing one after another, you can end up with 3 different results.
Oversharepening on iphone at night is abysmal, the same as on zoom-ins. During the day it‘s still too much. And that huge contrast doesnt look good on humans either. Samsung is clear winner for me here. Great video btw. Just little to short for my taste.
Hello. I had issues with the S24, post processing my photos 5 seconds after I saved them. It was generally pushing contrast and saturation, degrading the photo when taken in low light. Did you face the issue too ?
Samsung was doing good until lens transition while taking a video it was horrible. Iphone did it so smoothly. How come Samsung as a biggest iPhone's rival didn't see this?
Samsung absolutely butchered it on that end. also in close-up now. its always 1 object in focus where everything else gets either blurred or gets 0 focus together with main object unless you step back enough.. which defeats the point of a close up photo. i hate my S24 Ultra's camera so much as someone who shoots/films a lot. i'm about to do a trade-in.
In Camera Comparisons I always take photos on default mode. If I do it for my personal use, I use the Manual mode in the Galaxy. For iPhone it's 4K 30fps for video and 16:9, I don't change other settings.
The color gamut on the s24 ultra is still so wrong and fake and completely different from many other phones, I wonder why. The zoom is better on the galaxy, but the overall quality is still better on the iphone. This is my description, and it may not apply to others! Tähank you!
I am a user of S24 Ultra devices located in Indonesia. I'm saying the iPhone 15 Pro Max is still the best about cameras, videos and social media apps. And I'm sorry to have bought a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra device I'm really disappointed 🫥
Apple 😂😂 gonna buy camera lens and 48mexapix from Samsung in 2025>2026 and further Means they accepted they have failed and current lens are from Sony Well, There will be 😢 no competition it's like Samsung V Samsung 😂
