I love mine. No problems whatsoever after 3 months. My previous 2 tvs were samsungs and 0 problems with those as well. I'm a gamer and I've had no problem with the PC running at 144hz. The only downside is the Tizen OS.

I've just ordered the 77" s95c for 2.700€ (around 2.900$) and should arrive by the end of next week. Can you give me some tipps/tricks on how to calibrate it/ adjust the settings, like for example disabling the Samsung TV plus app to avoid menu lags !

Everything looks over saturated for me when streaming HDR content in 4K with BT 2020 turned on, however, for example, Top Gun Maverick 4K Blu-ray looks incredible with BT 2020 on Samsung S 95C, definitely not oversaturated.

I have a question. If I get this TV and connect an AppleTV or Firestick streaming device to it, will watching anything through the streaming device affect the native picture quality of the TV at all? Does the device restrict anything or alter anything?

S95C is supposed to be less prone to burn and also brighter

We all know how beautiful the TV image is but here are some things no one is talking about: 1) Internet Speed - Limited to 10mb over 100mb. So the max download speed you can get on this 2023 device is 100mbs. 2) NO Google Assistant - Confirmed after speaking with Samsung support. It looks like Samsung has split off from Google Ecosystem and will not support Google Voice Assistant on their newer devices 3) Built In Audio - Almost no bass. Sounds rather bad. Definitely needs a soundbar. 4) Low Brightness Ambient Mode - Ambient mode will cause burn-in on OLED TVS so while it's offered it's at a very dim brightness setting with no static images and overall looks meh compared to Samsung QLEDs 5) Storage - My TV was down to 19% availability right off the bat because of so much pre-installed bloatware 6) Uninstallable Bloatware - Samsung won't allow you to uninstall anything they've preinstalled for you. The Remove button is greyed out 7) Laggy Interface - You'd think they'd install a faster processor on their most premium TV but they cheaped out. The TV menu lags and isn't a fluid experience. 8) Settings Menu - When you go to settings it always will start playing Samsung TV + or whatever other TV app you were using. Like why? Also, why put All settings all the way at the end? 9) Mounting - Back of the TV is not flush. Required different size spacers on the top and bottom to get an even mount. -> I opted for the Samsung TV because I use a Samsung/Phone Laptop but I'm realizing there are very few ecosystem benefits and not having Google Assistant is a huge dealbreaker for me. I'll likely be swapping to the lG OLED.

Love my 65inch, I only play games on my PS5 and Series X so the blackout problem is a non issue. If you're not using a soundbar there is an option under the sound settings to "amplify" the sound, enable that and it will sound better. Colours are the strength of this set but can be a little over saturated at times which is easily solved by lowering the colour setting a few notches. The only thing im concerned about is Samsungs infamous firmware updates so I've taken the TV offline for now and use a streaming stick for my apps.

I am leaning towards the S90C from Samsung, mainly due to the fact that the S95C does not give you the full 48 Gpbs bandwidth of the HDMI 2.1 due to the One Connect box limitation. Another reason is that’s it’s around 800 USD cheaper than the LG C3

That's all true! I think I still lean towards the S95C for my setup. I have a very bright room so the brightness is essential and the S95C is brighter than the S90C. That said, that one is still a solid box and not everyone *needs* the One Connect box!

I wanted to see how much better it was compared to my old TV! The old set wasn't QD-OLED so it was a big problem that drove me crazy. I was excited to see how much of a difference there was!

Samsung ISN’T creator of HDR or HDR+ - they are industry standard and HDR is creators master their content to. Of budget allows they add Dolby, HDR+ and other formats. DOLBY is closed source, HDR is open source. Do some basic research when reviewing content outside your wheelhouse next time. Normally enjoy your reviews. Lots of errors on this one.

It’s a POS. Looks great but can’t keep connected to the internet. I’ve had 2 in 2 months. Go for the Sony A95L. Screw Samsung

Samsung will never have Dolby Vision as they created the free HDR10 and HDR10+ specs. Some manufacturers use those but choose the lowest possible specs. Samsung does choose the best specs possible which is why, even without Dolby Vision, it has continued to get praise for its high-end sets.
