Thanks for the comparison. I narrowed my search down to one of these two, as an expansion ssd for my xbox series S. I guess I will go with the Sandisk. Plus, where I live, t's 20$ cheaper than the T7. Thanks :)
Having watched several reviews generally the Samsung comes out on top, the price point at time of writing is approx 25% in favour of Samsung plus there are a couple of comparisons that you didn’t make which also favour the Samsung. Think my choice will be Samsung but I haven’t finished reviewing yet.
All things being equal I would personally go with the SanDisk for the durability. Both of these drives have been used very heavily by my video editor and for some reason the Samsung Drive always gave him more issues than the SanDisk Drive. On a Mac. Open to learning more about your findings and what else you'd want to see covered in the review in the future!
I'm debating between the 1tb T7 shield for $100 vs the 1TB SanDisk for $130? Is the SanDisk worth the extra 30? I'm not how much better the new Samsung T7 shield is vs the older one featured here.
Please question that SanDisk support android file transferring? I'm having an S21 ultra. Because I saw 1 video that this Sandisk SSD doesn't support android file transferring. Please help me I want to decide which one to buy.
It depends on how you format the SanDisk drive. If you format it as exFAT, it will support read and write to Android. If you format it as NTFS, it will only support read-only to Android. I hope that helps
