Samsung TV: How to Enable HDMI-CEC-ARK-eARK (Anynet+) AU8000 Series

I show you how turn on or enable HDMI-CEC-ARK-eARK (Anynet+) on a Samsung smart TV so you can use your soundbar, receiver, etc. I am using the Crystal UHD AU8000 model/series but some other Samsung TV's should have a similar process. Hope this helps.

Thanks man I found the Soundbar the dumpster and I couldn't get it to detect it as a speaker it detected it as a source but not as a speaker kept using the TV speakers thank you.

I called Sonos AND Samsung customer services, spoke for over 90 minutes to lovely people from both, none of whom could help me solve what you just solved for me in two minutes. Thank you thank you thank you. Now, now do I solve getting my sonos beam and my other connected speakers into sync? They are just ever so slightly delayed giving me an echo effect. They are good with music but not with the Frame.

Worked for me. It just made me make sure my device turned off during setting up the universal. So you might have to put in your exact device info

I just had to turn off the tv and turn it back on. But that was after I downloaded the Dolby app on the xbox.

Hey, so glad I found this video. I just bought the exact same TV and the problem I'm having is only HDMI 3 shows on my TV. There is no HDMI 1 or 2. I have TV working and Playstation working fine in the only HDMI icon on the TV: HDMI 3. I have plugged devices into the other two HDMI inputs, but can't figure out how to see them! It's the darnedest thing. Did you have this issue and if so..... how did you fix it? Thanks.

My Samsung TV does not have the HDMI CEC setting in expert settings at all. It’s from 2017 and has an arc port so idk why it wouldn’t work… any tips would be hehlpful

HDMI e arc is on, although the menus in my TV are somewhat different, and still the TV remote doesn't control my Denon.

Any help with using a hdmi switcher?? Im having issues where the tv will recognize the device connected but when i switch the hdmi channel it will bug out via showing the screen then blacking out

I just need to know how to change HDMI without having to click home, scroll down to menu, scroll over to connected devices, and then scroll down and over to the HDMI I want. Is there a faster way to do this? My old TV I just press input, and then I could scroll to the HDMI I wanted. None of the buttons on the Samsung remote seem to work this way. Please help.

It’s probably ur wifi… unplug ur router/modem for 30 seconds then plug back in then try to AirPlay after a minute or so for it to connect. 👍

U may have to enable cec on the other devices too… for instance on my Xbox I enabled cec so when I turn off my Xbox it should turn off my tv too.. but it didn’t work until i went into my Samsung tv settings and also enabled cec and no it works in my Xbox.

U still didnt say how to turn on hdmi way to fast couldnt see content please do again but slower and actualy bring up screen on phone yours was one of the only videos that almost got u to were u want to be thanks post again soon april17 2024
