Samsung UN55kS8000F back light on of screen problem

This fixed my issue too! Found the correct area with a 1/2" piece of tape. Went down and tested each section of ribbon moving it a 1/8" each time... until the screen flicked on... I knew I had the right area. Then once the problem area of the connector was found, I peeled the tape back from over the connection and left it on the back side to apply pressure to that area w/ the tape. Fixed. Thank you, Marcos! (@Samsung, please use better cable connectors)

Muchisimas gracias hombre,la Tv Samsung 50" de mi padre se estropeo al mes y medio de acabarse la garantia.Le mande tu video y lo arreglo.Funciona a la perfeccion igual que antes,no ha perdido ni colores ni nada todo perfecto..Lo unico que a el solamente le funciono tapando solo un conector de la ficha,intento tapando 3 conectores luego siguientes 3 igual que en tu video pero no le funcionaba solo audio sin video,aunque los leds de backlight si encendian y la tele ya no entraba en modo proteccion y seguia encendida...Al final probo solo tapando un conector,uno por uno y al tapar el segundo conector de abajo ya funciono.Lo digo por si a alguien le pasa lo mismo.El modelo de la tele es 50MU6102,son modelos para Europa de Este.Muchas gracias de nuevo,te mande 20$ a tu paypal de la descripcion del video para que te tomes una cerveza,te la mereces amigo,un saludo desde España! LE: La tele suya no tiene ningun condensador en corto en las placas finas que estan bajo la pantalla,los probo con un multimetro puesto en continuidad y estan buenos todos,lo digo por si te ayuda con algo..

I have a Samsung HD 4K Smart TV Model number UN70NU6900FXZA Version YA02/UNU7090 that turned on and off every 10 seconds. I was told that it was the fault of the capacitors. I watched your videos where you repaired a couple of Samsung TVs that had the same problem as mine. I wanted to know if my model has the same faults with the capacitors being shorted to ground. If not what is the problem?

That's my exact same model television, and I think I have the same problem. I'm not sure since they didn't show the screen at the beginning of the video. The TV will flash on with the SUHD Quantum dot display logo for a second then it will turn off and reboot. I don't speak Spanish, but I got the basic gist of it. Cover up certain pins on the ribbon cable with scotch tape. What exactly are you doing by doing that? Reducing the current or just completely blocking those connectors? I'm going to try battling with Samsung Customer service but will come back to this if I get rejected. Can someone bilingual explain what he was saying with the placement? The first ribbon cable he says tres lineas, so I guess he's saying cover 3 lines? I assume they have to be those exact spots as well?

Hola Jerez Electronics, Gracias por el excelente trabajo para ayudarnos a solucionar estos problemas, es algo que apreciamos mucho!!! Como encuentro el T-con de este mismo modelo de TV? Al remover la tapa trasera, se ve el power supply y otro circuit board al lado con dos cintas que entran debajo de una tapa plástica negra en la parte inferior que al removerla solo se ven las dos cintas doblándose hacia el interior de la pantalla debajo de una platina metálica con conexiones y muchos tornillos...no quisiera correr el riesgo de abrir y arruinar contactos. Tu ayuda es muy apreciada!!!

Hola feliz dia. Hace un par de dias hice lo mismo a mi samsung tv. Despues de ponerle los colores regresaron nuevamente a la pantalla sin ningun problema y el problema de apagado y encendido se elimino. Pero ahora como que el color normal se baja un poquito (muy poquito obscuro) y luego lueguito vuelve al los colores normales. Esto pasa continuamente. Creo que me tocara desmontar la TV de la pared nuevamente y mover la cinta hasta eliminar este problema. Te has encontrado con este problema? Me comentas por favor y gracias de antemano.

Como crees que podria solucionarse una sombra negra que aparece de ese mismo lado derecho que solucionaste cortando el tape menos grueso? Es solo una sombra negra que poco a poco oscurece totalmente hasta el borde de la tv en esa misma area donde aparecieron las lineas que arreglaste. Te lo agradeceria un monton.

¿Puedes explicar por qué esto funciona? Mi televisor está funcionando ahora, pero la parte derecha de la pantalla tiene algunas "líneas" blancas, como interlaced video. el resto de la imagen es normal. ¿Es normal tener esas "líneas" cuando usamos el tape fix? ¡¡¡muchas gracias!!!

Yo tengo el mismo TV y justo ayer en la noche paso algo raro , la imagen se fue oscureciendo o e igual que la luz de una forma rara hasta que se apago en unos segundos fue todo eso y luego se puso a reiniciar solita sin parar y la tuve que desconectar una hora y volvió a funcionar, ¿alguna idea ?
