I'd be really surprised if they didn't care. Samsung is a powerful company and the quality of their products is so good that even apple uses them to build their own products.
Are you dumb...apple ad had nothing to do with crushing creativity...it just fucking showed that look we can pack everything you will ever need in such a thin sleek product See I am NOT a apple fan..but the way people interpreted this is laughablily idiotic
Yes your right but I think what Apple wants to convey in their commercial is how many creative things you can do with the very thin iPad. It’s like they packed and crash all those features in to make the device powerful and show how creative you can be with their ipad. I think that's what Apple meant.
they should have just completely left out the tablet entirely and made the whole thing analog until the very end, where they show that it's a video on a tablet or something. still, this seems like a smashing... i mean, a big success for samsung
This ad is meant to present Samsung products as being in service of people, in contrast of Apple destroying (crushing) what people look to Apple for in the first place, so something from Samsung has to be there.
Some continuity error. The "original" ad showed all the tools were crushed with just tiny fragments flying blown out. I did not see a damaged but somehow playable guitar and other sizable debris in the final shot like what this ad suggests.
"Dont worry guys, we wont crush your creativity like that other evil company, our evil company instead replaces it with a mindless machine!" Creativity cannot be crushed, just replaced, well played Samsung
Except it doesn't replace anything at all here. It exists ALONGSIDE those that create. Mind you stuff like AI still requires input from humans as well.
AI is such a sensitive word for the last couple of years any company mentioning it is gonna deemed controversial. AI has exist for a long time, and AI can be used as a tool to assist artist and breeds creativity when done right. An example being Dr Mario lore. The meme gives many great fanart along with a good boost of following for those artist. This is not me tryna be a tech bro, I don't like AI art not only due to it's soullessness but also it's suffocation on certain art sites. such as deviantart. I just think that AI isn't bad, and on certain circumstances can be used well
to make the ad better, they could have the items slowly repair themselves to say that it builds up passions, and not talk about ai after, which is trying to replace those
Hey, neat response! Good on reading the room, Samsung! "With Galaxy AI" ....Oh. ---- Just to clarify, I understand there's a great role to served by such algorithms in the world, from restoring old media (see the 2022 remix of The Beatles' Revolver) to cancer research. It's also worth noting that by this point "AI" is a buzzword that has been well removed from its original definition, typically as a means of forcing half-baked features that are invasive to the user and/or utilizing overseas labor to do the actual work, and that particular grift (especialy so soon after the Bitcoin & NFT grifts) is what we're wary of at this point. That and the push by the part of tech that wants to outright replace creative roles w/ systems that are in no state to...well, create.
I'm not in your head, obviously, but I teared up as well, and suspect it's the same as the feeling when you find something precious that you thought was lost, or when a loved one whom you feared for the safety of returns home unscathed. To go a little bit pretentious and overanalyze the ad, the guitar is badly damaged, but it still makes a pretty sound, and it can be repaired. the pressing platform is also shrunk in scale, intentionally or unintentionally implying that the woman, and by extension, the viewer is larger, stronger than a cheap marketing gimmick, and can overcome it with ease. she is dressed rather casually to imply a humbleness of stature, yet nearly silent to convey restraint, walking fearlessly among the wreckage of human endeavor smashed to bits for no apparent reason, finding something of value unscathed by the brutal carnage. In short, it's hope. In all honesty, I feel that the build up should have been stretched out just a bit longer, showing that which was destroyed in greater detail, and giving the viewer a bit more time to appreciate the implied carnage before revealing the discovery of the salvageable guitar, but the message is certainly conveyed. What was destroyed can be rebuilt, what was taken away can be reclaimed.
honestly wouldn't be surprised if later they deleted the ad and made their own thin tablet (based on their past behavior with headphone jack, charger, etc)
Apple is suprised that artists on the internet are mad at their advertisement, right after they crushed multiple instruments and tools that artists and other people use..
@@SuperGamingBrosSGB if that’s what your using it for then your doing it wrong it’s meant to help not take over like large strokes of paint fast and never the product but it makes it look better
This made me want to see the information about this new galaxy tab and and what I’m seeing is that it may just be better than apples new inch which is also making me want to get Samsung galaxy tab instead of apples iPad
