The CB or C6 error code on a Samsung washer indicates that the washer is in calibration mode. Calibration mode recalibrates the washer's weight detection, which can help balance the washer, improve its performance, and reduce noise and vibration. The washer will exit calibration mode automatically once the process is complete.
Glad to know. If you still have problems, try putting fewer clothes in. With front loaders, the weight from the wet clothes (esp blankets, etc) can speed up wear & tear on the machine.
Good job checking the filter. Did you check your hose for coins or objects? If code still appears, might check the pressure switch or drain pump. Note-I'm not a repair person.
@@ericxxonvfI learned that one of the most common reasons for spin/balance problems is that the load of clothes is too heavy. So if you tried fixing and still have a problem, try adding fewer clothes.
Does this work on top load too? Every time I wash, it gives me the uneven code! Then when I try to open it (to balance). It won’t unlock until all the water goes out (which it automatically starts doing when I hit the pause). Once it drains (but still beeping). I hit the pause again and it starts filling up again until I hit it twice to open😩
@@Thisday2564 I never fill up my washer more than 3/4 way, and sometimes smaller. This trick may have worked, as I tried it and my next loads haven’t given me this message. 🤔. I called someone out (before I realized it stopped doing it) and they said nothing shows it should be going out of balance (no hitting or banging). So they said the only thing it could be is the board which is about $800…. For that price I can buy a new washer. Anyway, it’s working fine now and I’m thinking it was this, so thank you (for now😂)
You'll know if your machine makes alot of noise when spinning. It will also not stay in the same place as the whole machine moves and shakes when off balance. If it still happens after calibrating, then try adding fewer clothes. Does this answer your question?
