Thank you Ben. My washer was locked with a load inside. I followed your test instructions, it unlocked the door, I confirmed the drum still had water. I put it in spin test. It drained and spinned. Pushed the start button at the end of the test and door unlocked. I guess I don't have to wheel this Samsung to the curb tonight.
Thanks Ben! Our washer was overloaded and it got stuck and we couldn't figure out how to reset it or get the error code back. You saved me from calling a repair person!
One of the best if not best troubleshooting videos. Just changed my ECM for a fail to complete spin mode. I’m gonna try to clear all codes, reset water level and whatever else I can do to create a flawless running machine.
Thank you my girlfriend moms washer died! This is the first video I found and wanted to say thanks for the great content! To the point and no bs is greatly appreciated!!
If you’re having an issue with the 4E code, take the hoses off of the back of the washer and get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull that little filter out of the threaded plastic piece and clean that really well. I was having that issue and this seems to have solved it. The screen on the filter is really fine so it don’t take much to slow the water flow down and throw the code.
I don’t have any of the codes he mentioned on the washer except the d. I have d, - -, dE1,dE,3E2. This youtube video is almost a joke because he doesn’t actually have a broken/overused washer. His washer isn’t even hooked up in the video. I don’t understand how this guy thought he could make an informative youtube video. Not hating just speculating.
Im pretty sure the problem is just the filters being clogged from overuse and not cleaning once a month like your suppose to. But i really have no clue it could be multiple issues I wouldn’t know. Anyways the video did inform me on a-lot about it actually.
Ben this is a wonderful and helpful video, if you ever decide to reshoot it and include water tests that would be awesome. Also, small 'flick flub' the first test mode you put the machine into you say hit the 'soil level' button after getting the machine into 'd' mode but you clearly hit 'spin' to get into the next mode. keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for this video!!! I bought one of these at a yard sale recently, and I never would have figured out how to go into diagnosis mode without you!!!
Mine works only power and start, the wheel to select the ato mode. The dial pad is on, but the buttons do nothing, so I can not run the test codes. Do you have any suggestions?
I ve succeed to open the door with removing water with the drain, power off ~ 20min. But the machine seems not responding with the screen. Just found this: "AC6 error is an error when the exchange of data between the control module and the information display board has an issue. Recommended Troubleshooting Tip: Switch off the washing machine and unplug the power cable from the power source and power it on again and start another washing cycle. If after switching on again the washing machine and the error does not appear, please observe as it may be a temporary issue only. However; if the problem persists, then there will be a need for a service visit by a Samsung Service"
Hi, i have a samsung 12kg washer which has been working fine until today. I put in a small load in today and found that the drum would not turn. This morning it was fine. After putting it into diagnostic mode, the washer displayed an error 3c2. The drum is now also hard to turn, something has locked. Any ideas please?
Hello and thank you for doing this video ! At 1:51 you say to push the SOIL button, but you actually press the SPIN button...does it matter which one I push? Thank you
Our Samsung front load washer stopped working in middle of wash cycle. We heard a popping sound and smelled like burnt rubber. Machine panel lights up with power button, but other buttons do not work, the dial turns, but nothing happens. We can't access codes. We had to manually drain it and open the door. Pam and Mike
Hello Ben great video, Wash starts and then get to rinse and code SE or SUD comes up.I did the test as you explained and im getting a code that is not on your list 7t 14. Please help a girl out thank you.
Omg Thank you so much thanks to you I was able to get my washer working again I’m by my self and my son that helps me is out of town so I follow you to get the water coming back into my washer thank you I didn’t have money to pay someone to come out 😊and washer been down for Two weeks I’m running the clean cycle now I had washed my bath rugs that cause the problem in the first place I won’t do that again
Hello, i was running the spin mode test on , it doesn’t got passed 40-50 then i tried it again and doesn’t even move anymore. Prior to all this i did get a code dE and now it doesn’t show any error code. What can it be? Thanks
Greetings Ben & Everyone. I have the same washer and dryer. Zero problems. Except I accidentally leaned on the control panel and pressed some funky combination of buttons and now when I select anything other than the shortest cycle it stops prematurely. For instance, if I select the 40 min cycle, it'll dry for about 10 mins then stop. My question is, if I unplug the dryer cord 🔌 & wait for 1-5 mins then plug back in, will it reset my dryer to factory settings? *Believe it or not* I've had this set for almost 10 years. I love it so much! Not a single service call. Gratitude for your time.🙂
Ben, do you have more videos related to the model. Mines has a 3E2 error. I replaced RPS No spin. When I ran the diagnostic after replacing RPS error was gone but it still doesnt spin and error returned. How do you test the windings and RPS? Thanks for video
Not YET. I do plan on making 3-4 more in the near future. From quick glance, thats a control board / motor control error, more than an RPS sensor error. I'd check to see if you're getting any outgoing voltage. I've had a few Samsungs lately where the boards were just totally shot due to random issues.
I have the same no spin issue. Replace ROM sensor and still no spin. 3E2 and dE error codes now display in diagnostic mode. Other codes in Quick test mode: 004F (Heavy Duty dial position) 254 (Bedding) JO13 (Normal - I think this is software version) Any suggestions.
Hello Ben love the video it has been very helpful when I can get it to stay on long enough to get through it. The problem I am having is that it will turn off and back on several times throughout the cycle. Now I can hardly get it to stay on long enough for me to get to test mode. Any suggestions?
Hello BenI have a Samsung washing machine here I tried to do the self diagnose it will not go into that program I’ve tried it four or five times and it refuses to go in what am I doing wrong. My unit will fill up with water and drain but there is no movement in the drum whatsoever what’s my problem
On my WF42h5200aw, it doesn't finish cycles, but never displays an error code. I followed your instructions (Holding Delay and Soil), and then pressed 'soil' once after it entered D mode. It instantly displayed J0 and blinked between it and the number 12. Turning the dial did not look like it was trying to cycle through different error codes. I printed a service manual and it doens't mention "J0". Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Great video! Thanks Ben. I still have a no spin issue with following error codes: 3E2 de Replaced ROM sensor and still no spin. 3E2 and dE error codes now display in diagnostic mode. Other codes in Quick test mode: 004F (Heavy Duty dial position) 254 (Bedding) JO13 (Normal - I think this is software version) Any suggestions? Is there any documentation of all Samsung error codes?
Just so you know you say press the "soil" button to enter the diagnostic mode when you meant "spin" button. Ate up some of my time wondering why i wasnt getting any codes
you all probably dont care at all but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
Hi, hoping you could help me with a little advice. I have this machine, and the original fault was a burnt out DC92 board. I bought a new one and replaced it. Once the machine was back together I now have an AE6 error code and the drum won't spin, it just judders a quarter turn very slowly then stops. It repeats this over and over. I checked the connections, and all appears good. What am I missing here? Please help as it's already cost me $322 for the one board.
Ben, Thanks for the video but I can't even get my machine into diagnostic mode. I was hoping you might be able to help. My Samsung WF45N5300AW washer stopped mid-wash and generated an AC6 error code. I understand this is an error when the exchange of data between the control module and the information display board has an issue. The display panel is illuminated but not responding when I try to put the machine into diagnostic mode or even change wash cycles. I had to manually drain the drum and open the door. So I replaced the display board, and that did not fix the condition. Next, I replaced the display panel, and still no joy. The machine remained unresponsive although the panel was displaying a time and the wash selector was illuminated, but I couldn't change the wash selection. Can you think of anything else I can do before I replace that expensive control board?
Ok you said press the soil button but it was infact the spin button that you pushed to show the letter D. Please fix this as it matters which button you actually push. TYSM ❤
I have a front loader Samsung and it stopped on spin cycle. It still makes a chime noice but won’t power up. Can’t get the door open or get it to turn on. Any ideas?
My washer just beep when I push the main button, but it doesn’t start. If I keep trying it eventually starts, but can take as long as 30 tries. What do you think I should do to fix that?
I have that same model but mines have no codes, but mines is only lighting up 2 temperatures eco warm and cold can’t use warm or hot temperatures any help with this issue GeForce I call a service person?
I have the Samsung front loader the panel looks just like the one you have but it would not go in diagnostic mode. it sounds like he’s trying to get call for water but the numbers on front or bouncing back-and-forth and up and down just 4 lines.
Hi Ben. Great video. Can you help me try and repair my Samsung WF45K6500AW/A2 front load washer? The washer went dead during a wash and circuit breaker snapped off. The front door was locked water was in the tub. I turned on the breaker and it immediately snapped off. I changed the inverter board and it no longer snaps the breaker but it’s dead. I ordered the PCB. No change. Where should I check?
What do i do if i cant get it into diagnostic mode? I hold spin and delay and it just double beeps, then nothing. I have already unplugged it and waited...also shut it off at the breaker for several minutes as well ....still nothing. Then only button that does something is the smart care. Downloaded the app scanned the code, and its "A problem found in communitcations between PBAs"
So here's a weird one: when I start a cycle, the numbers that usually display time remaining start to all flash a clockwise rotation. It'll do that for a few minutes and then go back to time remaining, but not running. Any idea what that's all about?
Mine does the same thing. It appears to be stuck in "smart care" mode searching for an error but never finding it. I've unplugged the machine for an hour or so and then came back and it went away for a wash or two. Now i can't get a single cycle to complete and it comes on after a few seconds after pressing start. WF45k6200A
Hello. I have this exact washer and when I turn it on all of the lights start flashing and I can’t press any buttons. I’ve tried to hold the soil level and delay end buttons but it didn’t work. I’ve tried to keep it unplugged for an hour, I tried to hold spin and soil level. Nothing is working. Please help
I literally have the same issue. I can not enter diagnostic mode no matter what I do. I wish he or someone from this channel would my help Brice and I with this issue.
@@debraeriksen7188 If none of the buttons respond, even with the machine just being turned on. You could have stuck buttons or a damaged user interface.
WE42H5200 model, turns on and all lights stay lit, main control makes a few clicks then shuts itself off. Checking codes, segment display doesn't display full segments, Looks like gibberish. So, not sure if there's one or two boards that have failed??
Im getting code 3E2 I didnt see that on your list what can it be washer starts washing then stops and wont complete its cycle at times it will only work only in rinse and spin
I have a 2021 Samsung front end washing mashing and it has been beeping and giving me the SC code. I would clean the little filter in the bottom left and make sure the basin rubber thing was free of debree/baby socks too. It would go away and come back later with beeps and SC code flashing. So I took the filter out of the bottom left and shined a light in to see where the water drains into the pump… and bam…there was the problem…a piece of my wife’s bra was in side by the pump. I used some long skinny needle nose pliers and yank it out…the flood gates had opened and water began pouring out. I screwed the filter back on as fast as possible and washing machine was fixed. Timer started actually counting down, I could hear water pumping out into the drain, and the machine finally went into spin cycle, problem solved. I hope this helps someone, good luck.
Me! Thanks bud! I will clean the cylinder plastic filter thing and also the hose, we still got the damn code SE. I’m gonna go in there with a flashlight and completely check everything out, thanks again brother.
So far the best video on samsung machines I have seen. Still didn't help me as my issue is the hourglass sign that shows up as soon as I turn on the machine. Any suggestins anyone?
I had the same thing and machine wouldn’t spin… I ran through all his test…. No error codes but when I tried the spin test it turned off and wo t turn back on now😢
I have an AE6 code. I don’t see any loose wires and I have changed out the Samsung Washer Main Control Board DC92-01803D but I still get the error. Any advice?
I’m a new subscriber to ur channel I’m on the same field and I start like u said on the comments pick up truck and a garage I start flipping junks appliances Now I buy 30 to 100 Pz a month from a warehouse as is obviously but I like what I do and I’m always gonna need a extra advice from ur videos Plus I wish I can get a teutorial from you 😃
@@bensappliancesandjunk I’m in USA I have a used appliances shop here But sometimes I’m getting hard time with this top load washer such like Samsung Maytag bravos and specially the cabrios we do sell washer but mainly direct drive whirlpool and kenmore We always get those in front loaders Samsung and LG
We have a Samsung steam VRT plus it is stuck on spin only and we can't do anything with it it doesn't open and it doesn't start any idea as of what it could be?????
Hi Ben. This is super helpful. I've changed the motor on the same washer on this video and I still have the same issue. It stops mid cycle. I only gotten e3 error code a couple of times. Still trying to figure out what to do before I spend money on a new one. Thanks again.
My washer was taking 3 hours and alot of water to finish a load of clothes. Replaced control board down in the bottom of the machine and it fixed it 25min wash now takes 25 min.
No. Samsungs are generally garbage. The rear bearings may, on average, last 7 years. My reccomendation for a front loader would be a similarly-priced LG. We get WAY less of them than Samsung's garbage.
@@bensappliancesandjunk Wish I knew this before purchasing from my current landlord. He only purchased it two years ago. I had a Kenmore set for over 15 years that I gifted to my parents before moving to this house and I never had one single issue with them. This Samsung set is garbage. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it now
I was wondering what controls the timing of the washer ... Is it built into the display panel ... or is there another circuit board that controls it. What's happening on my machine is I could start a wash in NORM and after a while the unit will STOP .. washer does not shut down Only STOPS washing as if someone hit the pause button. This video was very helpful for diagnostics.. I went in and actually cleared the EPROM incase there were some settings the wife messed up on .. hoping it would clear my issue ... But its not and still does the same thing .. place on wash .. then shuts off wash as if someone hit the pause button ... in order to operate again someone has to go and push the START button ... then later it does the same thing again .. making one wash last for hours and the cost of water and electricity does not make this washer economical by no means.
i AM WONDERING IF YOU CAN TELL ME WHY MY LITTLE RED LOCK LIGHT COMING ON WITH 5 MIN LEFT IN CYCLE AND THEN MACHINE IS DONE. WILL NOT SPIN REST OF CYCLE
