Samsung WF42H5200AP door seal replacement 

First and foremost, I would like to THANK YOU for the easy to follow video. Which helped me fix my washing machine door seal, that I ordered 3 years ago. Also, it was so easy that a woman can do it, like myself. I made a short video to prove to other you can do it yourself if you have time and patience. Thank you once again.

thanks for this, have same exact model, this tutorial worked great, took me around 3hrs to do entire thing couple of things I noticed when I replaced this seal 1. use a power driver with a bolt head to unscrew and screw back those 2 weights, makes life much easier, than manually rotating those 6 bolts 2. once you remove all the parts before installing the new seal, clean out inside the machine w vacum and lysol, its naaaasty in there, I saw mouse droppings on the inside of the door when I removed the door from frame, have no idea how mice got there 3. for the metal seal ring around thats inside, the larger metal ring (the one with long screw), mount it but dont tighten it before putting on the lower weight, make sure the long screw that goes w the ring doesnt block the lower weight from sitting in the right position, I had to loosen this ring and move it up circularly to get lower weight to sit right 4. for outer metal seal ring, ask another person to hold the 2 ends while you stretch it to sit inside the rubber channel, much easier w another person

Thank YOU!! My Husband and I took everything apart following your instructions and FIXED IT! The appliance repairman incorrectly diagnosed it and was trying to rip out the old seal by hand! It wasn't until I found your video that I realized that he didnt know what he was doing. He wanted us to unplug it and told us it would cost $600 to fix it when a new one only costs a few hundred more... We were confident to try to fix it because of you and we're so happy we did! For anyone having trouble getting the spring off of the seal like I did, if you tug at the seal itself from the bottom a part of the seal should slip from between the spring and the frame, allowing you to grab and pull off the wire with ease, no pliers needed. 👍

Great video. But having issues putting the top front back on. The soap dispenser is in the way all the time and I cant seem to get the front on. Tried putting front on first but then I cant get the soap dispenser to fit 😫😫😫 Great tutorial and im sure Im doing something wrong. What would you advice? Front first then try to get soap dispenser to fit or other way around?

Everything was great, except the dog kept me distracted. There is NO reason to have the door open when you have the whole room set up with loose screws and hardware on the floor. The dog walks right over the hardware and screws back and forth and I lost concentration. Keep the dog away, door closed when you have screws all over the place. I see that in a lot of video's where a kid or dog is running loose and all the parts are being stepped on and lost or broken. Plus it's a distraction from your concentration. After all your making a professional video for those who need assistance. You don't expect a dog to be going back and forth during a instructional seminar.
