Yeah I bought the SWA-9200S to complement my HW-Q600C and it has been a worthy upgrade, especially for movies. I set the rear level to at least +3, and it ends up being a nice experience. A good bang-for-the-buck setup.
Great content as always, just got my q600c yesterday after watching your review about it and I’m looking forward on upgrading it with these rear speakers. Would appreciate it if you could tell us how much it costs, thanks much!
I have a Q600B and here in Brazil there are no rear boxes for sale, only imports. I found a seller with a used 9000S, and I'm about to buy it to see if it works.
That's awesome bro. Hopes it's still perfect. Same situation here in Philippines that's why I had to buy from Amazon who ships directly from U.S. but good news is it only took 4 days and free shipping as well!
Hey Márcio! I’m from Brazil too and have the same Q600B. It’s been a battle to find rear boxes, but I’m still searching. Have you bought yours? For what I was researching, I don’t know if the 9000S will work. Specially because of the Atmos sound. From what I’ve found out, we need the 9500S for the Q600. Tell me how you have been dealing with that. 😊
Funciona sim. Eu importei a swa9100s e funcionou perfeitamente com Unha Q600b. A diferença eh que o 91 o módulo vem separado. E esse 92 já é módulo embutido. Comprei Pelo eBay. Com taxa mas valeu
I just got these and set the volume to 6 but they are so quiet. I've disconnected them but how do you remove them from the sound bar settings. For some reason my treble and bass settings are now linked and can't be independently changed like they could before the rear speakers were added.
I have others samsung rear speaker.can i plug in the amplifier to replace 9200s speaker? And do you have seperate video for 9200s sound test? Saw many comments volume are at very low side
Yes you can pretty much put any similar speaker on the wireless receiver since its using speaker clip. Volume can be adjusted and its actually pretty loud
I have a Q60C soundbar and have gotten mixed answers as to whether these rear speakers are compatible with it. The 9500 speakers aren't, despite the fact that my soundbar supports Atmos.
Any suggestions for the speaker placement? How far from the listener, directly from the side or slightly behind the ear? Also the height, ear level or slightly above?
Depends on you and your space actually. So test and observe. Rear speaker should be a tad bit higher than the front ones, as they provide ambient and environement sounds. Make sure they are facing the listener in the center, not each other o just facing the front. Goodluck!
I'm here in the Philippines as well, and saw these on Amazon. Was worried about the Power brick only being 110v, but it seems to be 110-240V. I've got the Q600C, so wanted to add these to enhance the sound. How's yours performing?
Hey! Curious to know how your purchase was from Amazon. I have the exact same concern regarding the power brick being 110v. Did yours come in 110-240v? Also, did you order it from the Samsung official store? Thanks in advance!
Q - have you got the rear surround speakers flat against the wall ? With the drivers facing each other I thought would have been best to mount them at a 45 degrees angle so if you are sat in your chair the drivers are pointing towards the back of your head & ears ?
Great content! I want to know if you play in RU-vid will you hear sounds from rears speakers.... Because it doesn't have Dolby content....also try RU-vid in different modes and see rears performance 2) will rears works everytime or only in Dolby content
Depends where you're getting your RU-vid from, depends on your tv capability, depends on the content you're watching in youtube. There are some real 5.1 surround sound youtube videos that you can even see the 5.1 on the settings but not all tv youtube apps can do that. Browsers are also stereo only so they dont have that too
Thanks...but in 5.1 Dolby content only these rears speakers comes into play like ( RU-vid 5.1,prime Netflix, Disney) but no use for normal regular tv that dont have Dolby or 5.1...so do you exactly recommend this rears ..in my country it's hard to get Dolby content in regular tv I watch mosty@GlennThoughts @@GlennThoughts
I have these and the 9500S as well, hardly any difference, the 9500S just has sound coming out of the top of the speaker as well, but if you hang these on your wall anyways and you have a ceiling it makes 0 difference but if its in a wide open area then yeah obviously the 9500s are better but also double the price. I also dont get how people are saying these arent loud, clearly they dont know how to adjust the volume properly lol, i have these at half volume and its very loud and crisp clear.
Ya if they want them to sound loud you have to make sure the centre speaker is at 0 and not +6 ir else the rear speaks will just sound equal and not louder
