An iphone pro 512, ipad mini 256 with cellular, and a mac mini costs around $2600. I got my Fold 4 for $1500 but Samsung gave me $1000 for my Note 20 ultra so final cost $500 including my s pen. With dex, I truly feel like I have a 3 in 1 device. Totally worth it to me

I love Dex, I have a little stand that I put my unfolded fold on and use that like a second screen. I usually use that to control spotify or youtube while I game or work on my monitor. Another cool video maybe to make is how the Fold can replace a console with a mixture of mobile,cloud, and emulators

Did you try goodlock and it's modules? (Multistar?) Did you enable multi focus? Those are great and might also fix a lot of your issues. Try also reducing screen zoom. Anyways, i understand the struggle, Dex is really nice, but sadly it's not a desktop replacement.

Great. I switched to a foldable a few years ago already. The Huawei Mate Xs which I used excessively for Vlogging and publishing when I was in New Zealand. Was very useful and could attach it to Hotel TVs via USB-C to HDMI. With a mouse and keyboard I could even edit more comfortably. Though I only used the touchscreen and it was big enough and easy enough to edit videos I recorded over the day and publish them at the end of the day. I used it with Kinemaster for video editing. Nowadays I also am trying CapCut which has many useful features and seems to be less buggy on newer Android & HarmonyOS versions. As for rendering sadly no app can do this in the background. They always need to be in focus. You could with an attached screen render on the phone and use the DeX Desktop however. At least on Huawei phones this works. As for thumbnails I also used Canva but now its annoying me with price and ads or upgrade options. I switched to TextLab Now I have other phones with me and as I usually edit the videos on a tablet or the phone attached to a 16 inch screen I don't need the Mate Xs anymore. Also there are faster devices out there right now. Now I am waiting for the Honor Magic Vs (as I am invested in the Huawei ecosystem and Honors so far is still compatible which helps a lot and is super convenient) to release globally. That would be the first inwards foldable besides the LG G8x that is basically a two display inwards foldable phone with its extra case. The Samsung audio and mic configuration I like very much. Only ZTE and Sony have these options otherwise. Unfortunate as its super useful.

Love your video. The Fold 4 costs more than my laptop and ipad put together! I'm happy with my LG v60 that I can use as a thin slab phone or add a second screen when I don't mind the thickness (without reducing strength or loosing the 3.5mm headphone socket (with ESS Sabre quad dac) or SD card slot - and that cost me £600 for the phone and second screen. I liked Microsoft's Duo dimensions though.

I'm due a phone upgrade soon and I've never had a foldable phone, I'm hoping to either buy the Z fold 4 or Pixel 7 Pro, in your honest opinion, what would you choose? Thanks

agreed I would rather buy an iphone 14 and an ipad mini or ipad air personally. Spending that much on Android is just a waste.

I will NEVER buy a fold from Samsung. My fold 3, one month after warranty, developed a thick black line down the middle of the main screen. It was nevered dropped, and 70% of use was on the front screen. Samsung didn't give a sh_t!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
