I have had the s23 Ultra and ultimately went with the Fold 5 and now the 6 for 1 reason and its the reason to many people say is just people shilling for samsung, the smaller cover display. The ultra series is just too big for me to hold comfortably and being able to one hand my phone while still having the option for a larger screen when I need it is exactly what I want. Samsung just needs to make 2 variants, their current ratio phones and the big chungus Fold Ultra that everyone else insists they want. The camera definitely needs updating but I'm not a camera buff anyways and I carry the S Pen separately. Love this phone.
Cosmic Folding World A galaxy in my pocket, a screen like the sky, Fold 6, a dream that bursts the heart. I want to grab a star with my touch, Immerse myself in the cosmic world in the blink of an eye. Words flow like rays of light, New worlds are painted on the screen. Fold 6, my guide to the universe, You open doors to unknown ends. A foldable miracle, the pinnacle of technology, I carry the entire cosmos in my pocket. With you, Fold 6, time would flow faster, And I hope that one day my dream about you will become a reality.
S24 Ultra the better phone by a country mile. The Fold 6 still has the same camera from Fold 3. Same battery from Fold 5. Worse battery life. Worse charging. S pen doesn't work on the front screen. Worse camera compared to S24 Ultra. Way more expensive than S24 Ultra. Now had the Fold 6 had the same features as the 24 Ultra then it would be a no brainer. The above issues of the Fold 6 is a deal breaker for me.
A Galaxy Fold with an external screen 3mm wider than the Fold 6 and with the same height as an S24 Ultra would be perfect, both for the ease of use of the external screen, and for the ratio of the internal screen which will be more rectangular than square. But it would have to be a maximum thickness of 9-10mm like its Chinese competitors, a battery 🔋 of at least 5000mAh, but above all new photo sensors, especially (and at least) a 64mp 3X zoom like the OnePlus Open/12.
Subjectively, how useful you feel is having a tablet-kindle-phone 3 in 1? Camera isn't too important to me. However, debating between s24 regular / small and z fold 6 almost felt philosophical lol
I am leaning towards the Ultra, but still giving the Fold a chance. For example when I'm stuck in the train or the airport having Fold is super nice. Also for example I think my dad would love the fold, as his eye sight is not perfect anymore.
I returned my fold 6 for the 24 ultra because I wanted a bigger battery and when I change cases I don't want to miss out on possibly needing the s pen and that's the beauty of having the s pen all the time because you never know when you may need it. I dropped my z fold 6 by accident and I almost lost it thinking it was damaged on either outside or inside screen and at that moment I appreciated the design of the s 24 ultra. Plus I enjoy knowing my phone for the money I paid is capable of being the best in all areas even if I didn't use those features often but when I do I'm happy and prepared. These devices for the money should not be lacking.
@@techmo2020 Please let us know your verdict after dailying the Fold ;) Would love to hear insights from your real-world use as they've been really helpful for figuring out what's actually useful and what's not!
@@bullsback23 I traded in my 24 Ultra for the Fold 6. I do miss the bigger battery but I find myself using the Fold 6 much more than I did the Ultra. I especially like the S Pen on the Fold 6, the Ultra's is too small, more like a finger extension than a pen (Fing-Longer?).
@solomonhilliard5357 I believe the fold 6 is amazing and I've own the fold 3 and fold 4 but nothing truly stood out to justify the price, so I honestly believe having patience and self control will all be worth it in the end. So it might be the fold 7 or the fold 8 but I'm loyal to the Samsung brand and when they get it right I'm definitely switching back to the fold line. All the fold devices are fun but fun should have a integrated S pen with a bigger battery and a actual bigger outside screen.
I keep mine for one year. I buy them out right then trade them up towards the newest. Then again, I have a good job in real life. Pre college I would have help onto a phone for like 4-5 years before upgrading
a lot of negative comments are from people who don’t own or have never owned the fold 6 i’ve had 23 ultra 24 ultra 15 pro max 16 pro and now fold 6 and i use the latter
Hello, could you make a video about Light Performance Mode? Because in my experience it does help the snapdragon variant but on the Exynos variant standard seems to do better so could you try a battery test between light performance mode vs standard on exynos 2400
a lot of negative comments are from people who don’t own or have never owned the fold 6 i’ve had 23 ultra 24 ultra 15 pro max 16 pro and now fold 6 and i use the latter camera people talk shit if you shown the pictures to anyone they be hard pressed to say which is better there good enough for most people and if not get a sony camera
I am thinking betwen s24 ultra or fold 6 . Curently i have flip 4 .( screen died and they in Samsung replaced screen and battery) I am concerned fold 6 will have screen problem with peeling screen protection. S 24 ultra or fold 6 ?
What's wrong with peeling screen protector? Just buy a screen protector and put it on yourself. Removed the regular one and added a matte screen protector. It's very easy
@droo3010 I was told in Samsung service where I live to not remove and replace screen protector myself. I was concerned that I will accidentally damage screen.
i’ve just bought the fold 6 and i’m gonna struggle going to a regular phone now i’ve an 16 pro but i never really use it why would i when i have a big screen so the iphone will be sold
Still deciding between the two. Leaning towards the Zfold6 so far. I mostly use my phone for watching sports and messaging. Either or should be fine though since Im currently using an S21+.
Honestly they are both super expensive and they ain't doing anything out of the charts no matter how I put it I can't justify the purchase of a Galaxy.
Everybody. I know that had the Z Fold.6 and they made the biggest mistake ever. They're starting to see. We're writing them center where it folds. It's starting to fade and wear out stick with a single screen. These flexible screens will just give you issues if you want a tablet buy a tablet
I have had a fold 4 and now fold 5. Dont do it. The camara for me is noticeably worse that other flagship phones and its like having 2 phones in your pocket.
@seanjmccall9055 the 5 feels like an outdated phones. It charges slower than any other phone I have, the spen doesn't work on both screens, the camera isn't good. Durability is questionable. The main time I use phone open is to watch videos and the aspect ratio isn't ideal for even that because you will have massive black bars.
