Really loving your missions in DCS Liberation single player, with your explanations of whats happening, how the mission is unfolding, also don't forget about wingman 2 ,always give us a update on 2 at end of mission !

I’m going to start incorporating exactly what you did with Mavericks when I’m in the same situation. Designating outside and masking all the way in was brilliant. I’m sorry that your great mission didn’t end up recorded. But what a great watch for all of us!

Heads up I get that error if I don’t start Liberation 2.0 as a Administrator. I have had a couple of missions that didn’t save due to that. Nice mission,, I think I was sweating after my first night trap🤢 as well. ED needs to pay attention, look I love DCS multiplayer but I also love to go single player once in a while...... just me saving the world....ok bit much but you get the idea. I like the that it’s not just a F18 or A10C or Tomcat campaign if you have the airframe you can participate flying multiple different roles in the same ONGOING campaign. This is forcing me to learn the A10C & AV8B sooner than planned😬 Keep the updates coming 5 by 5

I’m so glad you’ve shown up in my feed. I’ve been playing DCS more than ever before now that I have a reason to now thanks to Liberation. Also I’ve had a few times where it hasn’t saved my progress. I came up with a slight change to how I deal with the sim. For instance, every time I complete a mission I go to the results page in DCS and I exit out of DCS normally. I exit the mission editor, I click exit in the main menu and let the game shut down. After that I go to Liberation and setup the next mission, after the save file has been created I start up DCS, load the save in mission editor and fly the mission. I do this every time I complete a mission. It’s a little inconvenient, but I haven’t had a problem since I started doing it. Others mileage may vary, but so far so good.

2:23 SA-11 Buk CC is the Command and Control vehicle, usually near the search radar. It can coordinates multiple BUK launcher vehicles. Keep up the good work, I like your videos !

The ability of the SA-11 to self engage or not is dependent upon the platform being used. If it's the mobile system (the Buk), it does have a tracking and guidance radar onboard but I believe the detection range is vastly reduced to what you would get in full battery deployment.

Installed Liberation and have been messing about in it. It’s an extremely good amount of fun, doing a France 2005 vs North Korea 2000 campaign.

Landing on a carrier in DCS at night is fairly easy as long as you fly within the E bracket and aim at the 2/3th part of the deck (the point in the middle between the wires and furthest end of the deck) - you will hit the 3rd wire almost every time

You're 100% right excellent mission, good landing for your first night trap. Don't you have the ability to recall your AI?

Sam, have you considered trying one of these missions in multiplayer with more than one client? I'd be curious how it all works. I guess the other than self client's are essentially guests you can just bring along and the main campaign progress would be isolated to your campaign? I'd love to see how this performs with a flesh and blood wingman.

How do you compare this now to BMS? I'm just learning DCS, and haven't been able to get BMS to run on my computer. Not sure if I should just go forward with DCS liberation, or figure out why BMS isn't running...

So much DCS, are you done with BMS all the sudden?

If you're acquiring the target with the TPOD is there any reason you use mavericks in place of AGM-154 in that situation... just personal preference? ...or can sa11s can shoot 154s down? Thoughts were just that you don't need to get so close with 154s so potentially release weapon outside of sa11 range. I'm new to dcs fyi, just learning a/g weapons.

You mentioned you didn't edit a LUA file, could you elaborate a little more. I am about to start working with this campaign and I know there are some behind the scenes quirks to work out, and don't want to miss something haha. Good flight though man!!

How did you do with the campaign? Did it crash or work fine?

Its happening from time to time when I land on the carrier. some bug appears

whats the discord channel name for DCSL? I've been doing the Russian campaign and even though the SA-10's appear operating they don't engage me or anyone. Only one engaging is the SA-11.

If that was already tense then you shouldn't try a case 3😂

On the old Liberation there was a 'Base Attack' mission to actually capture a base. What's the process of capturing a base on 2.0? Anyone can answer if you know. :)

I've just done a few missions using this and I get pretty poor performance for some reason. Much worse than I get online, in a server like hoggit. Can it be the sheer number of assets that are spawned in and interacting?

Did you manage to run it multiplayer? We tried last night to host a mission for like 6 people and the mission crashed every time a plane was shot down.
