Imagine if the Scotsman was sent to Hell... even Satan wouldn't want to deal with him. Then again, getting sent to the afterlife would also mean he would annoy the neverending hell out of God himself. xD
The bright side of the Scotsman becoming a "force ghost" is that if Jack failed, there is always the backup plan of Scotsman haunting Aku with never-ending insults for all eternity.
He doesn’t look worried he just look irritated I don’t think he was trying to kill them for real I just think he killed them because he was very annoying😂💯
@@Jarock316 it was magical still its literally stated only items of magical in nature can hurt aku it would explain why the scotsman was on akus most wanted
@@damsen978 Other magical abilities was shown to hurt or stall Aku; Scotsman's blade is probably no different. I can imagine it can hurt or repel Aku's powers, but not completely kill him like Jack's sword is capable of.
@@damsen978 No, the katana is unique in that it reduces Aku's regeneration every time he is harmed, Magic attacks can harm aku but he can regenerate over time, normal attacks dont hurt him at all.
"How could one man produce so many daughters??" *watches as he roasts Aku even when his back is against the wall* "Ah. The biggest balls in the universe"
Am I the only one that saw the skeleton and was WAITING for it to keep roasting Aku? "HAH! You call that killing?! You couldn't even kill crippled goat!!"
@@thenewkingofsaiyansdawesom5017 This Aku was basically depressed because he's been fighting against Jack for 50 years and could never really get rid of him. Even after destroying all the time portals, he figured Jack would just give up, grow old, and die off, but thanks to the side effects of time travel, Jack never aged, so Aku was basically fed up at this point.
@@thenewkingofsaiyansdawesom5017 I mean, he started talking to himself as a therapist. I'm pretty sure he was getting old and tired of fighting with him.
It would be even funnier if the Scotsman continued hurling insults at Aku even in his ghost form. It would drive Aku to full insanity, knowing that since he killed the Scotsman once, he can't die the second time.
0:33 ‘So this is what my life has come to. Immortal, bored, lonely and being insulted by an elderly Scotsman in a wheelchair with a minigun for a leg...’
@@King_Nex More like he never realy had a life. He's a demon or cursed being. After concouring the future he's probley bored and now he has to deel with this anoying foe born from his actions. Worse know he has to deal with the supernatural or spirit form of an anoying enemey he probley can't silence at all.
true like old man he was not strong anymore like before to run fast and fight for that he know that will happend he will die and for that reason he just let aku to kill him to use that spell to become ghost after he died for that i think if he was not old he need to have the power to fight with aku that will be amazing but sad he was old :D
Right before season 5 aired like about a year before I wrote a fan theory letter to the creator of samurai jack regarding the possible relationship regarding Aku and the Scotsman meaning why did aku put a huge bounty for him and what was there history together that and I wondered since the Scotsman’s sword is technically magic would it be strong enough to cause aku physical damage not enough to kill him because yeah that’s jacks story but I wrote it like 3 years ago I’m never expecting a letter back but it still would be cool if in the near future my questions and theory’s will get answered by Gennedy but like I said I’m not going to give my hopes up for years to come
This moment genuinely brought a tear to my eyes. The scotsman was like my favorite character, besides Jack himself, and he was clearly on equal footing with Jack during his prime. I don't care if he was old and in a wheelchair, I wish he had put up even the littlest of fights for Aku.
Did you not watch the video he fuckin destroyed him. Lol but yeah I get it. Remember sticks and stones, (and swords) may break your bones, but those insults are gonna sting for at least the rest of the day. Truly the deepest wounds.
You can tell he was beloved by many as well. His clan celebrated when he returned, he was willing to save a Celtic god from his wife and his daughters were devastated by his passing. He was true of heart and fearless, that is what made him a great warrior and a great friend.
I love Aku. He's not your typical incompetent comedy relief villain. Sure, he's hilarious sometimes, but when it's time to handle business, he gets shit done. Whenever he fails, it's typically not due to his own incompetence, it's due to Jack or someone else.
You can't keep a good man down. Ne'er was a greater man than this nameless warrior. As he lived, so too he died, but even in death, he refused to give up, so he could keep up the fight, and share his wisdom into the future.
I might be old, but I've lived long enough to see the world rise against your tyranny! Admit it, ya big oaf! You're scared. The samurai is still out there inspiring people by the thousands. After all these years, you're powerless against him. You've been shivering like a wee baby, hiding in your crib, afraid to show yourself 'cause ya know he's out there, and you can't do anything about it!
I love that he calls him a baby, and then laughs about it a sentence later as if he was just talking shit but realizes that calling him a baby makes sense
@@derekgonzalez4734 Fun fact though, Cody's ENTIRELY right. Because Mako died after Season 2 of Airbender, and Greg Baldwin, his understudy, took over as Iroh. And who voices Aku in Samurai Jack Season 5 instead of Mako? Greg Baldwin.
I love how Aku's movements and sounds mimic the green and red arrow that gave him focus. Even the creaking of wood as he moves. Which the cotsman references with "tree ogre"
Insults the tyrannical demon right to his face, gets blown up.... just casually comes back ready to give him another mouthful. The Scotsman really is a gem ^^
I like how for a brief moment Aku was trying to be polite. Likely cause he was depressed...probably wasn’t even going to kill the Scotsman....and then the Scotsman opened his mouth.
“I am sorry old man, I think you are lost...” To be fair, He gave him the respect of being and old man by giving him the benefit of the doubt he didn’t know who he was talking to and must be lost.. he did try
(Also removes hat) He died as a family man, a warrior and a badass, inspiring Boomstick from ScrewAttack and many other badasses along the way for generations to come. May he live on as a ghost of who he once was.
His longest unbroken string of insulting lasted about 13 seconds, and mainly focused on doubling down that Aku was a scared baby. In contrast, upon facing Jack, this man executed a flawless, culture-filled, perfectly spoken, unbroken string of Scottspeak, insulting Jack in over 25 unique ways over the course of 20 consecutive seconds (which included slurs). It's clear who he'd become friends with.
Even after 3 years. Scotsman is best dad. His daughters even covered themselves when he asked them to. and cried when he supposedly died. and happy to see him back "alive"
plus the allies were foreshadowed some fans felt them saving jack was forced but it wasn't cuz jack inspired them we just didn't know who would show up aside from the 3 groups ashi met and i liked that cuz it gave the fans a chance to predict who would help for example my friend predicted spartans
Scotsman: Jack, how'z it old friend? Jack: ...Scotsman? What happened- Scotsman: Well, while you were doing lordy knows what, me daughters and I tried to attack Aku head on. Lets just say it did not go well...but I gave that ugly piece of shite what for. Aishi: ...Friend of your's? Jack: Yes, but it is good to see you once again, Scotsman. I am sorry I was not there to help. Scotsman: No need gettin' sappy on me, lad. Just 'elp us take that ugly tree ogre down for good and we call it square, yeah?
Aku killed his cause he was spittin facts. And even then you can’t kill the roast master, the best daddy, the always affectionate and never honorless Scotsman
0:41 I see Aku is wearing Squidwrd's depressed face before killing the Scotsman. You can never truly kill the Scotsman. Even if you kill his body, his spirit is forever!
Who ever made aku was such a genius. He makes you hate him, love him and he makes you feel sorry for him and also he makes you laugh. And the voice... its perfe t.
