Aku's propaganda? How?He said the truth,he called himself the master of darkness and said that he unleashed an unspeakable EVIL,he also said that in the future his EVIL is law, that is true,it is not propaganda if it's true.
To Me Aku Used To Scare Me When I Was Young, I was Only 2 1/2 When Samurai jack Came Out. His Voice Scares Me The Most, Especially In The Opening Where He Tells Us What's Going On.
The old intro felt like being a kid again, but the new intro makes me feel that I've grown up with Jack. Through all of his adventures & people he's met along the way. This show was so cool & still is to this day
Old Intro narration: “Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shapeshifting master of darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil. But a foolish samurai warrior, wielding a magic sword, stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time, and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future *that is Aku!”* New Intro narration: “Fifty years have passed, but I do not age. Time has lost its effect on me. Yet, the suffering continues. Aku’s grasp chokes the past, present, and future. Hope is lost. Gotta get back! Back to the past! *Samurai Jack!”*
Me- 19 years have passed during when I was watching this show I've grown up time really goes by fast even in 2020 all my childhood/teenage shows have been Finished, Cancelled and Forgotten and during in 2017 this show has returned all those years ago with a final ending this is it the final chapter of Samurai Jack
I love how the fifth season of Samurai Jack has a different intro from it's first-four seasons with an art style redesign, no theme song (but only in the classic seasons of the show), and a darker and edgier tone while being aimed at teens and adults who were longtime and new fans of Samurai Jack that also watched the first-four seasons of the show as kids, which seasons 1-4 were rated TV-Y7-FV and more light-hearted.
plus he sits at a snowy cold tree symbolizing darkness but in the final shot of the show he sits at the same tree now filled with cherry blossem leaves symbolizing light (and imo the final shot is better in the video game thats just me though) its good imagery like that which makes samurai jack great
I met Phil Lamaar in November. He was a nice guy. I got to shake his hand and everything. He seemed cool to talk to. He was also Vamp Green Lantern Static Shock and one of the imaginary friends forget his name. If he was nice to me then hed definitely be nice to you guys too

When watching season 5 I have to admit that two things are true: 1.) The action, story, artistry, etc. is breath taking as ever. 2.) Mako is sorely missed and to me made the most convincing voice actor for Aku, the only way he could have not been present is the same reason we all won't be here one day. Death..
@@bkr1895 Yeah and he had also previously replaced Mako as Iroh in Avatar, he does a good job and respects Mako too refusing to perform Iroh's song in public.
Long ago in a town called Derry, I, Pennywise, the shape shifting clown of darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil. But a foolish group of children, known as the losers' club stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I manage to escape them, where I resume my terror for another 27-30 years. Now the foolish losers seeks to return to Derry and undo the threat that is IT.
@Festive Vegeta dude you kinda suck ass so stop getting off your high goddamn horse and respect the dude that's probably been doing yt when you were a kid
i love the old intro and yes i did memorize it like everyone haha but the new opening i love it because its well darker you can feel the time how jack just lost hope and over all know its gonna be something great to watch.. and it was
Long ago in an unspeakable evil, I, Foolish shapeshifting distant land, unleashed magic Aku. But master samurai warrior weilding a darkness sword stepped forth to oppose me.
If the final season had one flaw, then it was how fast it went. We barely got a real glimpse of "modern" Jack. He lost his new equipment in one episode.
I've just notice the singer is saying "Back to the past, Samurai Jack"! Is like the people of the future are crying for help! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 (I'm Brazilian and I am learn english just now.)
You guys don't get it. The new intro is basically telling us that this is gonna get darker, and that it's the end 50 years have passed. We can compare them but should we
No they're completely different tonally lol. People think an intro needs a catchy song to be "good" fsr. The second opening is just as meaningful and interesting imo
I love how the new intro is samurai jack saying the old theme song lyrics. "Gotta go back, back to the past samurai jack" the "watch out" is missing but I don't think"watch out" make sense in the new intro. The new samurai jack was fire. The only thing I didn't enjoy and did cringe at was the story that made in the new show that gave me Batman and batgirl vibe. Other then that everything was fire.
I think if it did it would've been Genndy Tartakovsky's original plan to conclude Jack's story. The story and mature tone of the fifth season i think would translate well to a live action PG-13 movie.
@@Tesseract.2012 except the voice actor is black and a characters voice is 1 of the most important things in an animated series soooo not the same actor means not the same iconic voices means not the same impact to the original fans who would be the main consumers
Yeah, it definitely stood out from the other shows that were on CN at the time. The great use of colors, the ridgid/sharp designs, the lack of any outlines, it really made this show look unique. It's a shame that most cartoon shows nowadays don't often try to do anything creative or different with there animation and visuals.
