From the ancient Japanese collection of folktales, stories and legends compiled in the Heian/Kamakura period, written in Classical Japanese, the Konjaku Monogatari Shu, Scroll 25 Story 11 今昔物語集巻25第11話 Music: peritune.com
I once read a history of Joseph Smith written by his mother. I don’t know how ancient your stories are, but even as late as the 1800’s death was a frequent visitor. You just had to make your peace with it.
@@beverlycall5341 These were probably written down around the mid 1000's, though most of them took place anywhere from the 600's to the late 900's, so around 1000 plus years ago.
The youtube algorithm recommend this video to me because I was listening to rotten manga's Asian crime stories lol. Enjoyed the video! I'm interested in learning Japanese, do you mind sharing any tips?
@@Hopeless_Fool Glad to have you here, and glad to hear the word is getting out. As far as Japanese tips go, not really, because everyone learns differently and language learning in general is so vast that it depends on a lot of factors. I can say, what I would do differently if I had to do it over would be to find useful or common phrases from games, anime and other media, memorize them and really dissect the grammar and mechanics of the words to understand how the language works better, and then maybe play with them after I felt like I really understood how those phrases worked. Plus, it's always nicer to study things I like vs things I don't really care about. Hope that helps a bit.
