These are absolutely the most brutal Fatalities I've ever seen in any 2D fighting games. Coupled with the music, this is seriously the most darkest SS game of all time.

I played one of these Samurai Showdown games as a kid on an arcade machine. I mostly remember that Samurai with the crazy anime hair, that guy with the mask and Arabian like sword, and that female knight is quite the looker. A modern day Samurai Showdown would be great, I definitely would support it!:)

Nakoruru has arguably the most personally dramatic finisher, straddling her downed enemy and saying something ending with "shi-ne" ("now die"), executes her coup-de-grace, and whispers "sayonara" (the more serious form of "goodbye", translating to "if this must be so" - English speakers would use "farewell"). That big demon character has the most grotesque looking and sounding finisher. I doubt I could translate the hiragana, but his gobbling, slurping voice and his hideous smile and other facial expressions say it all. Ugh, that's nightmare fuel for sure! And the one with the Mortal Kombat-like x-rays of each blow are kind of jumpscarey when you aren't expecting them. Once you've seen them, you wish each character had something similar as it looks way cool.

The fatalities in this game are surprisingly tasteful. No random, over-the-top BS fatalities; just no nonsense kills in the appropriate style for each character. Love it!

These were pretty great out of context especially with the bad localization, a child vivisecting a grown man then begging their dad for help and a guy ripped in half lengthwise by a flying dog. Good stuff.

Can you make a video or direct me to one on how to play samurai shodown? I have several on the switch and I used to have them on Wii. I don't understand the mechanics at all. And the digital manual tells you to hit 3 buttons at once to activate I think POW or something and for the life of me I cannot get that to go off. I lay my fingers across all at once or move a finger over each button no matter what I can't activate. I also don't know the difference in moveset at beginning after selecting characters I don't know how to perform moves they just go off randomly when I'm pressing buttons. I cannot find any tutorials for how to play any # of SS. Can someone please direct me where to look

No need to 'fix' it,sadly for the latest SNK aes a lot were censured. But with the universal bios the fatalities are always available with a fixed aes (I think).
