Not me... Cause horrible violence and sex Don't mix. It's like the former ruins the later. That's why i about watching her, cause people do that often with her
Kyo Kusanagi's super desesperation move, flame and hair cut + Iori Yagami's super desesperation move, flame and hair color + Tung Fu Rue 's combat position + Terry Bogard's winner pose + Kim and Ryo's movements + Rugal's Genocide Cutter = Kuroko
Kuroko has so many nods to Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters. His idle stance is straight up Tung Fu Rue's, he can perform Kyo and Iori's super moves, and to top it all off, Kuroko looks like Iori himself when he tosses his mask, similar to how Terry tosses his cap during his win pose.
I really do like the quality of this game. Great character designs with sprites, the background looks great and the animations are awesome. I didn't even think the person who does the point system was playable, that's a nice little joke to put in. I never played this series and I was curious to try it. I think I might get this game.
Alright, for those whining about the lack of blood: Story-wise, Yoshitora's holding a worldwide festival/tournament as a celebration and to reach out to Andrew Jackson's America in PEACE. It'd make no sense for everyone to be fighting to the death this time around. And before you mention it, no, the villains were not invited; they crashed. And Demon Gaoh literally pops out of nowhere at the last second.
He has a better version in Samurai Shodown V Special, where not only does he break your right arm, but leaps behind you to break your left leg, breaks your ribcage while in the air doing an izuna drop , and when he crashes you into the ground from the izuna drop, it breaks your skull which results in an Instant KO.
SNK and Arc System Works should should come together and make the next Samurai Spirits. Using the Blaze Blue/Guilty Gear Engine but the Samurai Spirits characters and design.
CageCat Well...it may not be that particular idea but I just saw a reveal on Max's channel about a brand new Samurai Spirits game coming out next year on the PS
What holds this game back for me is the fact that its combo driven and those high res backgrounds. Would be a visual masterpiece if this was on Neo Geo. Other that that all the characters should have been in the Samurai Shodown 3 artsyle. SNK is usually good at creating a cohesive look in their games. I guess they didnt have a huge budget here.
My problem with this game is just... Sound design (Overall) and the graphics when you hit someone. Compared to the ealier games it is kinda... lacking.
I like this game but it is not the same if its censored.Samurai spirits was built off the ability to slice in half and draw blood. Its as if you took the blood out of mortal kombat and all you could do was friendship finnishes.
sorry I don't really remember settings from the Last Blade series... I only remember the ref is part of the Kusanagi style martial art (and Yagami is later separated from the original Kusanagi style) so he is believed to be the ancestor of both.
Jose Lin For some reasons I think that Sieger is the ancestor of Wolfgang, and Charlotte the ancestor of King. Else Charlotte is a reference to Jeanne d‘arc
Is...that my beloved Kugyu voicing Chample? Also, Kuroko having access to Orochinagi and Yaotome(with Saika follow-up), I already know. But his Ranbu skill is new to me. It starts with Hoou Kyaku -> Not sure this 2nd Ranbu -> Rugal End?
The sounds are like arc system works fighting games are like the damage sounds like some guilty gear something else and also like cps3 sound effects in the game for this
rawwshard Hattori Hanzo is a well known japanese historic figure. If I remember correctly, he was under the service of Tokugawa clan. His name has become quite a permanent fixture when it comes to ninjutsu in games and fiction.
rawwshard Ieayasu Tokugawa was the first person to unify Japan and end the sengoku era. Most of Japan's fiction is based on their history and sengoku era.
You can at least play the arcade release of this game online on FC2! The PlayStation 2/Wii release coming back worldwide on modern platforms with rollback and crossplay would be nice, though, I agree.
