Ali Altaie Preference really... DW focuses on The Romance of Three Kingdoms (China), SW focuses on Sengoku era Japan. Both try to reflect historical characters and events. Warriors Orochi is like a crossover having characters from both DW and SW with a story of its own not trying to reflect anything in history. All great games, I wouldn't jump into an Empires edition until trying one of the base games to play through the story... All that being said, I would recommend DW8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition to anyone new to the Warriors games... has the most straight forward combat out of the 3 in my opinion and the easiest/quickest to learn. Chances are you'll wind up owning them all if you find out you like these games, DW8 will have you knowing enough to quickly adapt to the differences in combat with the other games.
