appreciate this, been looking the background bokeh examples since I recently discovered the fx3 doesn't like manual lenses with it comes to using gyro stabilization.
hello appreciate your review, i just got this lens like it, but i have a question, which lens filter you have, i dont mind to block the green light. thanks
When out I use a freewell ND with hard stops. I sometimes use a mist filter when at home if I want to soften the light (it can stop the hard light). Both are 72mm filters with a 58-72 step up ring.
Yes 100% it’s great for video and photo and emount the same as your A7II. It’s basically the same as Samyangs tiny series 24mm (which is cheaper) but with more video features, weather sealing and the electronic mounting feature on the front of the lens.
@@GMTNeil greatt... I considering to buy this, if i uprade my camera to a7iv dont need to buy any lens more. Thanks for your respons. You the best one.
Yes 100% I use it for that as well. It’s the same as the les expensive 24mm tiny series f1.8. But it has the enhancements of weather sealing as well as the adapter and tally light.
Not yet but I will trying the 45mm soon and I will be putting up a video about that in the near future. I intend on getting the 35 at some point though I have a limited budget.
I also own the A7IV but with Zeiss batís and it’s just so stupidly sharp. Is the Samyang too sharp? I’m really not into sharpness I like a little bit of softness.
It’s sharp but not crazy sharp, it has a little bit of a vintage vibe without being vintage.. that probably makes no sense. But from my experience the 24mm is a nice mid point.
