Most of us NBA fans could care less about the Spurs. It's the same for the Timberwolves, NO, Dallas, Orlando, Toronto, and Portland, to name a few. When the Bulls, Knicks, Celts, Lakers, are good, it matters. I love coach Pop but SA isn't a major excitement, as franchises go in the NBA, unless you're a fan of the team.

I'm going to play the bad guy in this moment of glory for San Antonio and say, pop needs to go, the Spurs should be a youth movement team going forward, he's had his moment in the sun it's time to move on from pop he has nothing more to prove we will always be proud of what he has accomplished, he can't get no higher than the Hall of Fame and he's going into that this summer, I read at this moment he hasn't been offered a extension, I wish R.C. Buford will do the right thing like Jerry Jones did to Tom Laundry and fire him, not exactly fire him but convince him to retire, pop will never take a Spurs team to the finals again, and that's the Western conference finals.

@@gerryparker864 and that is fine with us, spurs fans like myself don't care about the Hollywood limelight, glitz and glamour and other bullshit that goes with teams like that especially the Lakers. we still happily polish off our 5 trophies no matter what people like you think or feel about the spurs. to me that is what makes it even sweeter to see fans of the above mentioned teams be forced to eat crow when we win titles and succeed

@@gerryparker864 yeah maybe but spurs fans have never cared about that stuff and we love staying under the radar. Even when we had Timmy it was the way it was. But those teams you compared us to are no where on the same level of organization as the spurs lol we have rings to back it up and we’re probably the best organization in all of modern day sports

@@gerryparker864 Actually, most NBA fans I see on the internet say they are happy the Spurs, among all NBA teams, (but theirs, obviously), got Wemby. They seem to be one of the most respected franchises out there, because they win, without the big bucks, the fancy nonsense, the flashy behaviors, the crazy egomaniac players. Just hard work, culture, and team play. And it works. Good on them.

Portland wants to give up 3rd pick for a star. We have to trade for a star first to get that 3rd pick. It won't be done in a two team deal. A third team has to be involved to make it happen.
