Music Director Sebastian Lang-Lessing leads the San Antonio Symphony in a special and moving tribute to the tragedy in Paris by performing the French National Anthem prior to the performance on November 20, 2015 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.

BRAVO !! Cette MARSEILLAISE est plus que magnifique, les musiciens l'ont interprétée autant avec leurs coeurs qu'avec leurs instruments. Nous n'oublions pas que l'indépendance des Etats Unis a été la levure de notre révolution . Merci et encore MERCI

Both are beautiful, however completely different in meaning. The French anthem is a call to arms, the American anthem is a song of praise.
