This is the time lapse drive video that I been waiting to make for a long time. I like to know if anyone else has filmed a whole video of the Baja pennisula. Enjoy the video.

Thanks, I just visited San Diego and reached the end of I-5 but thanks to Tijuana’s status as the most violent city on Earth and COVID restrictions I didn’t enter Mexico, this video allows me to see not only what’s beyond the border to Ensenada but all the way to the end of the peninsula. It is still unbelievable there are still 1,000 or so more miles beyond the border after the end of California
Thanks- As a CalifornianMexican, Dad would always be dragging us up to San Francisco (Upper California)- then hitch up the trailer again and head all the way down to here -Original Baja California - As a way of Showing us our Mexican heritage -
I am sorry i don´t speak and writting english but we apoligize for several damage in the conditions the road Viva Baja Viva La Paz, B C S great vídeo and great trip

Mucho gusto guey! Huge respect for driving the most isolated stretch of carretera in BC Mex. I would love to see you drive deeper in to Mexico, perhaps to Uruapan, Michoacan, the world capital of avocados.
depends on what stretch of road you drive on, but inter-city travel is very well developed along toll roads but as for more rural roads like this one, it;s a bit of a test. some useful videos just to give you an idea. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_354v3wCMpk.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hw_5lur99K8.html
This Lamb is working midnight shift at Dunkin’ Donuts in Wellsboro PA tomorrow. This will be watched in full then. This Lamb is Barbie’s favorite ovine follower!
Upeedina Lamb Now I know where to go to get free unlimited coffee and donuts! Hahah just kidding Lamb. I always enjoy your comments on her videos, they're funny and unique.
I live BCS, I've driven to BC and California. I love Loreto in my State and La Paz. I love Los Angeles, San Diego and Sacramento... And I loce Mexicali, And Ensenada
Hi, thanks for the video! Can you share where you spent nights and where you refueled? I saw a gas station here and there in the small towns, but no lodging. For those who might make this drive, where do you get gas & sleep? Thanks again!! 😊
It is, from Tijuana to Los Cabos it is around 800 miles. Similar distance to Los Angeles-Portland(oregon) or Dallas-Chicago. And that if the way was straight, in reality it becomes a 1000 mile drive. Many people picture Mexico way smaller than it actually is, but it is a large, and particularly long country.
I only went to Tijuana, but we never went south farther due to a dangerous highway especially the bandits during the day hours and no light poles on highway during the night hours, so all they could is stay overnight at some hotel along the highway per night until finally arriving in Cabo San Lucas.
Even if you slow it down to normal speed it looks like a real white-knuckle ride. The road surface looks bumpy and undulating, and that's the arrow-straight sections.
Only way one can virtual drive it is 0.25x. The video could have been shot at normal speed but it would take far longer than 2 hours to see it all. Main problem with the Baja California drive is the autopista ends in Ensenada. After that, its city streets and two lane mountain roads to get down to Cabo. Way too far and too dangerous. Sensible tourists fly there which saves a lot of time.
Took him three days. Personally, an 8 hour drive is too taxing. And you can see the condition of the Mexican roads not to mention all the army checkpoints to go through. What a hassle. My least favorite thing about the drive is the short hairpin bends on the mountain roads, They’re an accident waiting to happen. I would not advise driving in Mexico even with Mexican auto insurance.
shadowkirby2007 and thats nothing ask him to do a video highway 200 from oxaca to puerto vallarta When youre passing trhu Michoacan the road is very dangeros on the edge of 3000 ft cliffs to the ocean 🌊
This lamb is curious: What did you do for fun in Cabo? Also good call on not using the Camaro for this trip. Those low profile tires would have not made the trip.
Looking at the 1D stretch from Tijuana to Ensenada, this looks like an extension of the California feel, the true Mexican feel kinda begins once 1D ends, there you see the true Mexico. My opinion
nope, mexico is extremly mountanous, and the baja peninsula has around the same length as texas' or california's most distanced points, so it is quite a drive.
An animal barely made it across the road in front of the vehicle at 1:01:11, thought it was a cat, but when I paused and looked closer, it was bigger. A dog or coyote maybe.
Yes, but slower. You have 25km of speed bumps, stop lights and stop signs galore. The speed limit is 40kmh (25mph). The toll road on the other hand is a 4 -6 lane freeway with a speed limit of 110kmh (65mph). The freeway starts at the border and kind of funnels you onto the toll road. I have been on both roads many times, and despite the fact that the toll road is a slightly longer route, the toll road is much quicker and much more scenic. Take the toll road.
