I remember going there A LONG time ago in the 70’s. It was a super big deal back then and attracted so e big stars (for the time) to the concerts. I am extremely happy the clock tower with the mariachi singer and guitar is still there after all these years. Looked like a wonderful time and thanks for sharing.
Yes. I could only imagine how it used to be back in the day. The fair still gets a fair share of celebs and music talents to visit. The only complaint I have is that most if not all the time the concerts now are an additional cost when they used to be included with admission.
Great job of showing what this fair has to offer. Definitely way better than the OC or LA fair. San Diego’s beautiful landscape makes this fair the best with the best vibe
Thank you very much for the kind words! I’ve been to all 3 fairs myself aswell and the best one of all always is San Diego. For variety of stuff to do and the location.
Just ignore Billy Bob duck tapping the rides together and using trash ties to re enforce the coaster tracks. lol Only ride here I enjoyed and trusted was the graviton, and that is long gone. :(
Ya I’m not a big fan of carnival/fair rides. Don’t personally trust them but I’m sure they meet all safety requirements needed to operate. But regardless…you won’t catch me on one.
