I'm carrying the California flag in the Leather contingent at 1:35:00. Immediately behind me and being carried by dozens of Leather folk is what the commentator refers to as "another large flag" presumably because they don't know the Leather flag when they see it.
I tuned in to see a parade and NOT be hi-jacked by religious fanatics at the beginning .. this is wrong and have no place at a parade.. the first one took too long.. we don't need preaching... I turned the damned parade OFF.. next year post a WARNING that you are having religious people doo-gooders at the intro
Thank you so much for the broadcast with fun info and energy! We were home sick with fomo and this was the cure. Everyone was amazing, have fun at the fest and go SPEED UP guy!!!
November 11th. 10 am. Harbor drive. Veterans' day parade I'd support two, three or more parades for the veterans. Sounds good to me. + Make sure the veterans are getting good medical care for any conditions too
@@zingerostrich You're missing the big issue here. But nice try. What I'm saying is there should be an equivalent celebration and public appreciation for our veterans. Walk into one of our VA hospitals and maybe you're learn something. So do everyone a favor and think before you speak. In fact.. actually just go ahead and do the world a don't have kids buddy 👍
Excessive pride can be detrimental to personal development and societal progress, as it often leads to arrogance, close-mindedness, and interpersonal conflicts. Proud individuals may struggle to admit mistakes or accept feedback, resulting in strained relationships and social isolation. This close-mindedness can also hinder learning and innovation, causing stagnation. Alternatively, embracing humility fosters a willingness to learn, empathy, better teamwork, and resilience. Humble individuals build stronger relationships, are more open to new ideas, and contribute positively to their communities. By valuing humility over pride, individuals can enhance personal growth, foster collaboration, and create a more supportive and innovative society.
@@GuyWithTheDogs , Exactly I appreciate you. Embracing feedback, even if it's not always positive, helps us grow and improve, ensuring that our content continues to resonate with and engage a diverse audience.
I'm sure that local businesses who take in LGBTQ cash are thinking that...or perhaps they hear the sound of $$$ and the revenue this huge and fun event brings them. Ease up folks... I'm sure the folks at the Stonewall Riots took into account that they were "excessive".
@@GuyWithTheDogsYes, this parade has given flashers and perverts the chance to act on their disgusting behaviors like grown men parading around with almost nothing on and some are wiggling their butts and there are children present. I was groped when I was a kid by my own gay granduncle, when I was in high school while watching a movie, in college by our glee club pianist, and even when I was in the Army by the husband of a friend.
When you're six feet under maybe. But the rest of us embrace progress and the expansion of personal freedom of expression and freedom from religious influence / authoritarian ideals that once limited who you can and can't be. Focus on you and yours if you'd like to live differently, and be grateful you have the freedom to choose to do that.
A book is a book. For all you know it was probably created by the devil. Masked over the true words of love thy neighbor and respect everyone in peace. Somehow you fill with love when you say things like this. Thankfully we all get judged. Soften your heart my brother for your own sake.
@@miniWHEAT909 The devil doesn't create anything. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only Creator. The Bible is sixty-six books. Loving your neighbor doesn't mean to promote feelings if they lead to sinful activity which God has condemned.
It's actually great to be alive, free to be who you are, not have to hide in fear of persecution. Whether it's your sexual orientation, your religious beliefs or lack thereof, and your opinions on all kinds of matters. It's great that you get to say "it's sad", and someone else gets to have a different opinion. Cheers to having opinions, freedoms, safety, and the other things we enjoy
