Did you think I meant the Pelikan fountain pen? Nope! I meant the very stinky bird that is actually spelled with a C. Fooled ya! At the beginning of April there were over 70,000 Pelikans at the cove in La Jolla. They smell AWFUL but are cool to watch.

What a great haul!! Hope the trip was amazing and you've had a great time. Delighted to have heard my name in this video lol. The aliexpress pen cleaner thingys, I've quite liked them so far. They don't fit as completely snug as a cartridge / converter would but do fit nicer than a regular bulb syringe (i imagine the schon ones are a better fit). I've found them pretty helpful though, especially for cleaning lamys or other pens that bulb syringes fit awkwardly into. And it's nice that they're clear, so you can see if there's still water inside!

Hello You! Oddly the Schon Dsgn ones won't work with my Franklin Christoph nibs. I have found some international converters won't either. I'm glad I got the AliExpress ones!

@@cerealnana I am in mid orange county which is like 100 miles north of san diego but I can meet half way at oceanside thats how far the train stops and I live a 2 minut walk from the train station or you could take the train up and we could have a day trip to the anaheim district to hang out for a day :)

as for the inkapet ink stands you want to keep those open cause if you get ink and it slides down the side you will get ink everywhere trust me you want to keep a tape on it so you can wash it out periodically :) and nothing perminant so you can maintain it as needed :)

Honestly? I like it, but it isn't such a huge difference for the amount I write. Even when I write letters(not as much as i should) I tend to do it in chunks. I think I still prefer the medium fine nib.
