I get where your coming from but you have to kind of put yourself in there shoes. This is their jobs. Parents leave their kids 40 hours a week while they are out working unless one of them is fortunate to stay home. But them leaving for 2 days is the way they make a living. Bakersfield is more affordable and that is where they have their family so I would stay there too 💁🏻‍♀️
