#33 Badanjek who rushed for Atlanta's first touchdown went to my high school. Won Class A Offensive Back of the Year his senior year and rushed for 5,350 yards throughout his four years at Chalker. There was also speculation that he ran for around 475 yards in a game.
The NFL Blocking the Strike games from being viewed WOW!!!!!!. That is like Stan Lee trying to prevent people from viewing the Live action Spiderman TV series, and George Lucas trying to stop people from seeing the Star Wars Holiday Special. Plus I have been going thru the Seasons figuring out how many pass plays vs Run plays teams ran each season. In this Pro Football Encyclopedia it lists Times tackled attempted to pass which is the Sack. So I add pass attempts + Sacks to figure out pass plays. While everything else is a run play. But I have also gone back and checked the % in Wins vs Losses. The Strike Season I had to break down into three Categories. The full 15 game season the 12 Regular games and the 3 Strike Games. Basically I am trying to determine how many teams were at 60% or above pass plays in a given season and their records. As I keep seeing year after year teams in wins are usually fairly balanced Pass to run. In losses is when they get up around 60% pass or above. The Strike was a Different animal the Bengals were afraid to pass because they were so bad at it. 10 yards like 20 or 30 yards and 97 yards in their 3 strike games. Predominantly in the Strike almost everyone tried to run the ball except for the Giants, Falcons, and Vikings. The VIkings 0-3 during the strike 8-4 otherwise. the Falcons were 59.9% pass in the Regular Games almost 70% during the strike and above 60% overall. The Chargers 3-0 during the strike just 5-7 otherwise.
