As a former jets scout it is clear that Brock Purdy is a better fit in Shanahan’s pro-style offense than Trey Lance. Purdy looks more comfortable and efficient (60.9% vs. MN). I smell a QB controversy

Do you remember those 4-0 preseason records and how they do in the regular season in those years?

No, usually coaches put in their 3rd-4th string players to play in the preseason which is also known as the ‘practice squad’. This is mostly to prevent injury for their starters and to give the subs a bit more practice. This doesn’t determine who starts in the season because that is usually figured out in the offseason.

I can't forgive them for the TDP pick. Bad spot to pick ANOTHER rb, there were way better options still available (Dameon Pierce, Jerome Ford, and Hassan Haskins to name a few) and him and Sermon look like the worst backs on the team. Mitchell is the main guy, Jeff Wilson too valuable on special teams and a good player as well, Jordan Mason outplaying those guys and Hasty has special quickness and agility plus it he best pass catcher. Those TWO third round backs should be last on the depth chart which is sad. I do like how TDP is a bruiser but that kind of back generally doesn't work as well in the NFL. That being said love the Spencer Burford and Danny Gray picks as well as some of their undrafted guys.

Their the Vikings Radio announcers. Best in the league! Thousands of Dakota an Minnesota farmers listen to them in the tractor and when working in the shed. We don't got time to go sit in the house for four hours like city people. lol
