Purdy stepped in and delivered! He showed poise, composure, and threaded the needle in many of his completions. He also showed his mobility outside the pocket and was able to convert on many 3rd downs. He’s our guy going forward and he fits right into our scheme. Keep a strong running game combined with the best defense and I like where we are at. Short week off a big win so hopefully we can take another W soon! Go 49ers!

This kid could be good. Very surprised he fell to last in the draft. Quick release, today’s typical NFL size, elastic arm, has more guts than most starters as of now and is pretty accurate. He throws off platform and from different arm angles, very quick release, great upper and lower body disassociation and finished with his weight back with a sudden stop of upper body rotation that leads to balanced squared shoulders. All the things we see in Rodgers, Mahomes and Allen. We will have to see about the elite arm strength though, not enough situations yesterday to really tell yet. I saw this in him 2 years ago at Iowa State and was very impressed. He also has all those weapons and a championship caliber D.

The fact that everyone is talking about Micah Parsons as DPOY and no one is even mentioning Bosa is ridiculous. Hopefully that changes after today.

Man the addition of Caff has really made the 9r's offense look rejuvenated and exciting.

Losing Jimmy sucks, but PURDy stepping up much respect! What I really liked is when PURDy had to roll left and threw pass. Staying in pocket and throwing it down the middle, rolling out right keeping play alive and still scanning down field to hit Debo for a first down. Then the qb sneak. We got a real dog in this game!

Coming from a houston fan that was one of the best back up qbs performances I’ve ever seen he looked like a qb 1 out there I just became a prudy fan or is it purdy

Purdy is so good that even the pick he threw was great! It was 4th down. If the ball was swatted the fins gain an extra 20-25 yards.

For the love he showed the Charlotte metro, my home, I am a McCaffrey fan for life. He played through injuries and on a team that was wanting, yet he gave it 100 percent daily. Get 'em young, enjoy this ride, you deserve it.

Who would have ever thought? Once jimmy went down I thought our Superbowl dreams were over. While I appreciate Jimmy G and his leadership,professionalism and ability this Purdy kid is just something special and has all the tools to be a great QB for this team and scheme. Kyle like Walsh now has his Montana.

This was a great game for the 49ers they had a good defense and offense.

As a 49ers fan this win was very special, McDaniel, Mostert, Wilson Jr, and Sherfield. Like a nice reunion. Niners defense is elite like the 2000 Ravens defense and hopefully Brock Purdy can pull a 2017 Nick Foles to win a superbowl as a backup qb. But key word “hopefully”…

What a game! The tackles in this game were so entertaining and hilarious at times.

I like that Purdy doesn't play scared. With fins coming after him almost every play he stood tall in the pocket and threw the ball with confidence.

This 49ers defense looked shaky at times, but they settled down and showed the NFL once again why this unit remains generational with yet another masterclass to support first-time starting QB Brock Purdy on getting his first career win.

As a dolphins fan I’m glad the game went this way sort of. We haven’t played an actual team with Tua in forever and this will wake us up for the future. A great day to be a San Franciscan. Both my squads won at home. But the hotly anticipated game between MIA and SF was the best win thus far for the Niners. Our vaulted defense led by Bosa & Warner kept Tua & Hill in check all game. Truly an immovable force.
