San Francisco Bay Ferry! The BEST way to see San Francisco! Vallejo to SF in scenic style! 

The Vallejo ticket terminal is now permanently closed. I use the Clipper card. If you don’t have a Clipper card, you should use the San Francisco Bay ferry, mobile app to purchase tickets. The app is the best place to get tickets if you don’t have a Clipper card. You can also go to some Walgreens in Vallejo to purchase tickets, but not all the Walgreens sell the tickets so you will need to call ahead to ask if they sell the tickets. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! If you go on the San Francisco Bay ferry website, they have all the schedules on there. They have paper schedules that you can get at the ferry building in Vallejo and they also have the schedules posted at the entrance of the boarding area. Have a fun trip!

It’s very convenient and you get a discount also. It is good to know that you can get tickets at the bus station. You can also buy tickets when you board the ferry. There’s an employee that sells the tickets up in the front left corner of the ferry boat. Thanks again!

@@SactownRandy No problem things change from time to time. They call it progress, I'm not all that certain about that one! Having been a former regular commuter on that ferry boat I'm not all that happy with WETA's move in closing this ticket office. It's great for newcomers who not all will see this video or think about it 1st. Overall it was well done though & I agree it is the best way to get into San Francisco even if you have to transfer to MUNI for the rest of the way.

It drops you off at the ferry building. It’s about a 1.5 mile walk down to Pier 39 and the start of the Fishermans wharf area. It’s a nice walk, and it goes by fairly fast because you see a lot of cool stuff along the way. Have fun!

@@SactownRandy how do you get from the ferry building to Oracle Park?

You get off the ferry boat at the SF ferry building, and you take a left towards the Bay Bridge. Oracle Park is up about a mile on the left. It’s about a 25-30 minute walk. It’s a pleasant walk. It’s mostly flat but a slight incline as you get closer to the park. They also have dedicated ferry boats that go to and from the ferry building and Oracle Park. Just go onto the San Francisco Bay Ferry website and check the schedules. Have fun!
